Druid: No TDS Fire Aura?

    I came back to the game fairly recently and have been playing catch up with my Druid and I just noticed last night that there is no fire aura. What happened? We got a new cold aura, but no fire. That doesn't make sense.

    Why are you so concerned about the lower damage proc aura not being continued?
    That's not a rhetorical question, I'm curious because out of all the spells cut for TDS, this one gets asked about the most.

    Because the Fire one has a better name.

    And Fury of Ro perhaps?

    I was actually wondering why everyone asked about the fire one as well, My only guess was because druids have so many fire debuffs and that could be seen as advantageous?

    I always used the fire one on my druid alt, I have no explanation for why. Maybe theres a bunch of people that are the same way?

    Resists, perceived or real, people feel like fire lands more (plus the cheesey easy fire debuffs).

    I sometimes use it when ice aura is getting resisted, and blammo, resists tend to fall off. Obviously could just be perception / RNG, but it 'feels' that way.

    Wizards & Mages both have effects that selectively boost fire damage.

    While i would like to see an upgrade to wildspark also since chanters in tds raids cant always play both auras. Mana reciprocation is still superiour to a wizard Even factoring in a 15% increase which is what mana recip got. Based on 1000 casts of claw of the flameweaver ,flashchar,ethereal skyblaze combo only by a small margin 250k damage or so nothing to fret over.

    OK i lied Twincast + Amp Aura + Wildflash (if it got a 15% upgrade) is slightly better pretty much only for wizards it seems. I'd guess all other classes the other would be better maybe except necro. I am not real sure if the damage from Amp aura crits or not.

    to be a bit more specific, the damage is added into the base of the spell, thus allowing haze and IoG to effect it in addition to the critical modifiers that the player has (and i think foci effects but that is dammed hard to prove)
