This problem has existed awhile but i do not think it always existed. I've noticed this for a few illusion clickies but the best example I have of this problem is: Girdle of thorns: http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=46055 The spikecoat buff from this clicky has a base duration of 3 hours 15 minutes and is flagged to extend, for virtually every class that i have seen use this clicky it does extend into the 5ish hour range, however if a bard uses this clicky it does not extend at all. My first thought was that perhaps insta cast clickies cannot extend for bards due to the wonky bard code and all that, however when i use: http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=71658 The storm guard ds clicky DOES extend for my bard. I am fairly certain that the girdle of throns clicky USED to extend back in like 2011 but hasnt for a long time, the problem also seems to apply to marketplace polymorph wands. Any idea on what could have caused this to happen in recent years?
I'd hazard a guess that it is NOT in the best interests of the bard class to explore anything to do with Extended Ingenuity.
Normally i'd agree but felt compelled to finally make this post since I could have sworn that it used to extend this buff, ultimately it is not a huge deal but it did have me curious as to what the cause could be.
