    *** Items ***

    - Fixed a small spelling error in the description of Nimbus of the Lit Way.
    - Necromancer - Corrected an issue that caused the Deathwhisper Shard of the Ancients to provide more benefit than intended. It now results in the same total benefit as other class epic augments.
    - Look to the Marketplace this month for the Dwarf Heritage Crate. Each crate contains a random item. Trade these Dwarf Heritage items to your friends or collect them all yourself!


    *** Tradeskills ***

    - Fixed an issue that prevented some characters from receiving the tradeskill skill cap extensions that their known recipe counts qualified them for.


    *** Quests & Events ***

    - Corrected an issue where solo tasks were incorrectly displaying a 24 hour duration.
    - Innoruuk's Curse - Duriek Bloodpool in Paineel is no longer susceptible to combat and will now respawn every 30 minutes.


    *** Spells ***

    - Cleric and Paladin - Corrected a bad description for Divine Aura.


    *** AA ***

    - Ferocious Kick ranks 11-13 have improved resist values, making it harder to resist.


    *** NPCs ***

    - Fixed an issue that was causing pets renamed to a name that contained "pet" to revert to the default pet name.


    *** Overseer ***

    - Added Conflagrant Platinum as one of the rewards for crit success of the Ring of Scale tradeskill rewards.


    *** Miscellaneous ***

    - Corrected an issue where some characters who are in a fellowship were not always appearing in their fellowship.
    - The /report command now gives you the option to open a Customer Service ticket in a browser, as reports will not be investigated without a corresponding ticket. Updated the help text for report to be more accurate. This command reports the first 20 visible lines of text in each open chat window, starting with the main chat window. /report can now be used once every minute instead of once each time your character zones.
    - Added the /usetarget command which will left click a targeted player or right click a targeted NPC to help facilitate interactions in crowded areas.


    *** UI ***

    - Block, shield block, and staff block now display different messages in combat logs.

    You guys keep wasting time righting the injustices of 15 years ago regarding worn epics. Are you going to spend equal developer time to address the unequal power of epic clicks as well?

    Shadow knight, bard, shaman, paladin, cleric, berserker. Why aren't all clicks "the same total benefit"?

    Or to look at this another way. What improves the game and possibly draws in or retains more folks? Spending time nerfing 15 year old items. Or spending that time instead to make all epics retain some value either by fixing their click to be current or by leaving worn effects alone.

    Necro's will still be at the top of parses after fixing that long standing oopsies.

    Some people would complain about how heavy a free gold brick was.
  10. Skuz I am become Wrath, the Destroyer of Worlds.

    They said a few patches ago that they would be devoting less time to patches for a while, to concentrate on server & game stability work.

    Alongside that the team is working a lot of over time right now trying to get the expansion finished before the end of the year.

    So don't expect there to be much in the next patch either.

    Foci & clicks are not the same thing.

    Each class is built somewhat differently, the benefit that the clicks provide to the class, or to their groups really can't be made equal as none of the classes are equal to any other either, and in my view at least the day that clicks on epics are completely equal is the day that EQ has stopped proper class design and opted for a cookie-cutter approach which I for one would absolutely hate.

    like skuz said, clicks and foci are not the same thing, as stated every time youve brought it up... if youve not found that understanding yet, its prob time to try a dif game.
    bringing new people in to the game isnt just on devs, its also on the player base , and honestly if they havent came in by now they probably wont be anytime soon.
    personaly id rather come intoa game after a so called nerf happens than before, because id never know how bad the nerf was. so im unsure how fixing a 15 yr old oopsie is gonna keep new players from coming to the game.

    Symantics. Change the word click to thing and it can literally apply to anything.

    The only thing that matters is the big picture end result. The necromancer epic is not the cause for current live results and does nothing to address that issue. So its a needless time wasting change as they are just going to have to fix the real issue later on down the road.

    They revamped the entire melee situation for live and tlp with all the innate melee enhancing AA. So much so that most melee and even tanks for decades of content totally destroy any resemblance to what the game actually was and shows zero $h!ts to balance. Monks don't even need to loot weapons for what like 5 expansions. Yet zero reductions and nerfs happen with that.

    Now that they have removed the necro 1.5/2.0/2.5 from the picture in the current live game they they no longer have to consider the impact it has when designing new spells, AA and gear. Also necros are no longer tied to a 15 year old item and can upgrade to current expansion.

    To be fair patches normally fall in size as it gets closer to beta and throughout the expansion launch as the developers move their focus from normal updates to new expansion content.

    It isn't waste of time, it brings one element back to where they want it. With beta due to start soon, they need the basics sorted. Retuning spells after the basics have had time to take effect is possibly the best we to do things. We may see some more of this in beta. No one knows yet what AAs they are planning for necros next expansion that having the epic as it was will mess up.

    Personally I think it is better to adjust one things first and then another rather than doing it all in one go and going too far the other way.

    A lot of the work we are doing right now isn't in the public facing patch notes. For example, the expansion and internal facing changes. The October patch has over 100 internal patch notes.
