Any quests that were active before the last patch now show in red. I don't know what that means, but it looks scary.
yes, looks like the change to shared tasks being max 24 hours instead of unlimited has kyboshed the normal unlimited tasks as well.
Can confirm this error; for the brief time it did let me log in and load into the game my non-timed quests all showed as red but one that showed 2 hours or so ticking down
This is a display bug, the change was supposed to affect shared tasks only but it also affects solo tasks. It won't cause your task to go away, but I agree it doesn't look great.
When I logged in, saw the error, then looked at the timers, I realized that the timers are including offline time in the countdown. My rogue was offline from 12:10 am this morning to 10:45 pm this evening, yet her new quest from Maddoc had 2 hours to go. I'm checking with my now-red Fluttershy quest whether the change is merely cosmetic. (Feldspar on Povar)
