EQ Stutters, Use Windows - Try this Fix

    If your EQ suffers periodic lag, there is a possible fix for Window users -
    1. Press the Windows Logo Key + G to open Game bar.
    2. Select Settings in Game bar.
    3. In the General tab, select the Game Mode check box. Turn to OFF
    Last major Windows patch changed something with their game mode causing a multiple of MMO games to periodical have lag spikes. Turning Game Mode off fixes this problem.

    I had bad stuttering issues since patch...i tried everything.

    Finally tried turning my /log off. Stuttering gone. Turned it back on...it was back.
    No idea why, but that did it for me. Sucks can't parse my logs until figure out whats causing it.

    Do you rotate your logs out? Have antivirus exclude EQ directory so it is not scanning the log, which is in a constant write/save?

    Also make sure Journal is turned off, Alt J and uncheck mark it.

    My stuttereing today was due to haveing Firefox running in the background. Turned that off and it went away.
