Well frick... I got to thinking about it. I went tested with nothing but platinum on me. It freaking does give change when purchased. Dang you Morit.
All a part of the plan. Spreading confusion while also making you expend additional brainpower or time in-game running around for confirmation is standard procedure for me. Sometimes it backfires, like the time you said there were no gnolls in the Commonlands (which, btw, I wasn’t joking about - there really are gnolls in that zone), but this time it paid off, as I know exactly what we are dealing with here ever since your first CHANGE response. Unfortunately, there are a plethora of specific possibilities still left, so whatever advantage I would normally have is kind of rendered moot until I can get more information. And if I get more information, then that means others are getting that same information which increases the likelihood that someone not named Morit would win this game, which is unacceptable. I retired from EQ in 2006, so would it have been possible for one of my characters to have acquired this item by then?
I retired again in 2008, would it have been possible for one of my characters to have acquired this item this time around?
I came back briefly in 2018 to go through PoP progression with my son - would we have been able to acquire the item during this time?
