So, before the change, the xp modifiers worked like this: Have they released the official numbers after the recent change? If not, could we get them, please?
- Increased the experience bonus for having other players (not mercenaries) in your group. - Increased the amount of AA experience you get in groups of 4 or more and raids of 13 or more. Just adding for reference. Good question.
Just going by the 'displayed' xp one is allegedly gaining from an Overseer task it looks like the xp bonus is ~45%. (Don't know about any rounding there might be)
I was more asking if the devs had released the numbers, or if not could they please. I agree parsing right now would be unnecessarily vague.
I misread your post when I responded. For some reason I thought you were asking about the current bonus. I'm curious to know that answer to your original question myself.
Was: 1 characters - 1x 2 characters - 1.38x 3 characters - 1.68x 4 characters - 1.92x 5 characters - 2.16x 6 characters - 2.2x Is now: 1 characters - 1x 2 characters - 1.58x 3 characters - 1.92x 4 characters - 2.22x 5 characters - 2.5x 6 characters - 2.56x
Yes Thank you! Didn't expect an answer to this guy, or at least not until you guys tackle the AMA thread.
Anyone know what this breaks down to after your split the exp? Assuming even split it would be like this? 2 players 1.58 / 2 = 0.79 exp for a 21% reduction 3 players 1.92 / 3 = 0.64 exp for a 36% reduction (+15) 4 players 2.22 / 4 = 0.555 exp for a 45% reduction (+9) 5 players 2.5 / 5 = 0.5 exp for a 50% reduction (+5) 6 players 2.56 / 6 = 0.42 exp for a 58% reduction (+8) If so seems like the 6th spot should be corrected. Following the same pattern it should be 6 players 2.82 / 6 = 0.47 exp for a 52% reduction (+3)
You are forgetting that the 6th group member is free and the divisor stays 5, assuming no mercs in group. So 6 players 2.56 / 5 = .512 exp, better than 5 players.
Interesting data, and thanks to the dev for posting. One stream of data I've never seen posted, and it seems it would be the most common type of group... how does it work for mixed groups? 3 players & 3 mercs? 2 players and 2 mercs? 4&2, etc? Or, are mercs still the same +20% per additional group member? So, 3&3 would be 1.92 (for the 3 PCs) + another .4 (for two mercs), and then divide that by 5 (whether it's 3&2 or 3&3, because the last group member doesn't change the divisor)?
