On Agnarr server leveling pottery. Have 216 skill and started combining this, did 150 combines, no skill raises. Is this recipe broken? or is this intended to not level pottery skill?
Random chance per skill point, though 150 is a tad too many to not get any. I normally use a few steps, into 240 and 280, that are cheaper first.
EQtraders says 3% skill up chance. Chance of going 150 without a skill up, about 1%. But when you consider 100 people skilling up, someone can get unlucky. My personal hell was doing 175 fine plate visors for a single point. During Kunark time frame. Lugging non-stacking sheet metal from Freeport to Kithicor on a cleric.
Just did opal one and got about 1 skillup per 10 tries, maybe red recipes will not give skillups anymore?
I did some trade skills on a live server over the weekend. 1-250ish by being lazy and starting early on recipes that would have been deep red, so likely not.
