Chase Item Evolving

Still waiting on Ngreth to look into and fix.

Someone else told me they had this problem of not being able to evolve it to the third lvl. He said after inspecting it multiple times the claim button finally showed up and he was able to evolve it.

Confirming this method works. It can take a few tries but the button will appear eventually.

As an update, the lore group is shown in live, but I don't know a database (allakhazam, eqresource etc) where these are listed. However from ingame inspection:

Whispering Midnight Casting:
Whispering Midnight Protecting Fire

Whispering midnight skill:
Whispering Midnight Assaulting Fire


I don't know if it's changed since beta but the lore groups were somewhat unintuitive then. Augs would conflict in surprising ways. If anyone else has gotten these to drop and can list their groups I'd appreciate it. I'd really hate to loot an item on one character not knowing it conflicted with another item that I really wanted.

I'm waiting for some code changes to be pushed through and I'll have the item lore groups added to allakhazam. TBL item lore groups are,

That's interesting that there are five lore groups for the group / raid versions. When I performed some basic testing in beta I distinctly remember (and posted here: https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq/index.php?threads/evolving-items.252789/page-4#post-3721903 ) that there were six.

However looking at the lore group names it sounds a lot more intuitive than what I experienced in beta, so I wonder if the lore groups were adjusted.

I'll want till you get the real ones to comment, but I can't be the only one looking at the lore groups and the effort required to attain, level and aug these items and wonder if it wouldn't be fine to just remove the lore groups entirely.

Is there only Fire and Magic based procs or is there additional augs for other damage types that you didn't list?

There are only fire and magic based procs. The casting procs only proc off of their respective elements and, for whatever reason, chromatic spells (e.g. Whispering Midnight Casting Fire procs off of Fire and Chromatic spells).

All Type 18/19s are in that list.

There is a code bug (found within the last few days) where there is some sort of race condition and the "has a reward set" is sometimes (depending on which wins the race) loading AFTER the inspect window is open. Thus... weirdness happening. Repeated opens of the window can let "has a reward set" sometimes win the race and load before the inspect window opens :/

Nothing on test patch ? About the rare evolve items exp together?

that was a code change. I don't know why there was not a message for the patch (I don;t even know if it made text, but I expect so...)

So these are all fully evolvable as of right now right ?

You can get them to level four currently. You need everything in TBL done to convert them to level five.

Can you define “Everything in TBL” ?? Is this every single achievement, inclusive of raids/raid conquest?

Also, has anyone seen the Whispering Midnight and Blazing Paradise augments? I have not even heard of one of them dropping and have no idea where/if they drop. These are the type 18/19 augs with the effects on them (not the ones with just stats).

I had one drop yesterday, can`t remember the named, but it had % dmg reduced from rear attacks. Dropped of a named in Empyr. First I have seen in around 40 named kills
