I know that there were changes made to the alchemy recipes with yesterday's patch. Does anybody know details and/or have clarification on: What recipes were taken away (if any) What recipes were added (if any) What recipes are no longer able to be completed until X expansion (and which exp) What recipes now have components dropping in game that were not dropping before What recipes now have components purchasable in game that were not before etc My understanding is that some of the distillates that were not able to be created before on Coirnav *might* be able to be completed now, but I don't know which ones nor do I know if the components to make them are dropping or able to be purchased at this time on the Coirnav server? May we get some clarification on the changes and/or some details if anybody knows please?
Ngreth made an entire post listing which potions would be available in each expansion (specifically to each distillate). As far as I know, only distillates are affected by this patch.
Thanks found it. Has anybody confirmed and/or know if the components to make the distillates are dropping/purchasable on the Coirnav server that are marked as "No Restriction" or "Ruins of Kunark"? I had assumed that these distillates components were sold in the Planes of Power of which obviously wont be available on servers before that expansion is opened on that server.

It's been a while, but I believe all the components are available on alchemy/poison merchants (I tried to make antidotes, all the distillates and such back in early days of Agnarr). There are a few ingredients that are drops only, but I believe they all drop in the respective expansions or are sold.
Just doing a quick check on Magelo, on a random distillate in the list above, I found the following... Distillate of Alacrity VII Components Bistort Autumn Crocus (5) Small Vile Arnworth All components except Autumn Crocus should be available on Coirnav. Autumn Crocus does not start dropping until Shadows of Luclin according to the database on Magelo as best I can tell. So, even though Distillate of Alacrity VII is marked as no restriction, the earliest you can actually create it on a server right now is after the Shadows of Luclin expansion is opened on that server. Is this correct and expected functionality Ngreth?

*Edited. Thanks for the help guys* Distillate of Alacrity 7, 8, and 9 are missing drops in Ruins of Kunark as they are usable for level 50, 55, and 60 respectively. Distillate of Alacrity 10 is available to be made in Ruins of Kunark, but its not able to be used until level 65 which makes me think it shouldn't be available to make until the Planes of Power expansion is open on the server.
I don't know where you're getting all your info from, but Arnworth/Comfrey/Hemlock is sold by nearly every alchemy vendor (not just innothule swamp), and more importantly, Deepwater Ink is farmable in Kedge Keep.
I wasn't listing all possible places to purchase. I was listing at minimum one place to purchase for that expansion. As for Deepwater Ink, it didn't show up on Magelo as available from Kedge Keep. I will modify that one. Thank you.
Just cross referenced the two drops that are not available (Autumn Crocus and Red Cups) on EQTC, and the information is the same on Magelo. These items require Shadows of Luclin and Planes of Power respectively.
In the same thread quoted above, I said I did NOT make a pass for the availability of components. That will be a later pass. I do not have an ETA at this time.
You know what... forget it. When the staff is just as rude as the trolls on the forums, then why even try.
Ngreth was just stating historic facts, where to find them, and informing of the plans for the future. Not answering in this thread, but pointing back to the other thread, is helpful, since he put amazing effort into the other post in regards to details. Kudos to Ngreth on that other thread. What you are doing here in this post is equally helpful (to me at least), because it is gathering information about what materials are actually available now. I made a similar check that you are making, but I did not record my findings nor did I report it to the forums. I applaud your effort. If done right, this thread's effort and information has the potential to hasten the actual material availability update that Ngreth implied. That would be nothing short of awesome!
Alright. The dev was not rude to you. he/she was not nice to you. that reply was just a neutral statement of fact. you perceived aggression and are considering it rude because you are frustrated. you are projecting. your post was an inappropriate response and you should consider removing or editing it.
