Posted over here, in response to something in Live update bugs, since not a bug. https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq...te-bugs-05-16-2018.249310/page-6#post-3670001 But coming with a tiny suggestion: Let each component spell cost 10 mana, the cost of the complete spell package will cost a bit, but would then get the benefit
They should just have it mimic the ranger's summers line. Summer's Tempest is the same thing as Frozen Toxin except the 2 spells cost 100 mana each, fulfilling the minimum criteria for Threads.

Should also take into account that on the level 110 spell since it can proc from 3-6 other spells if you added it to the component spells you would get between 3-6 procs off a single spell which is probably a bit excessive. Sounds like the idea that Rickate suggested might be better.
To ensure that does not happen, put mana on first part of it, example 3: Cast: Beramos' Poison Strike Then it would Work like normal spell
Yeah...a tiny damage on the original spell might be good (though I'm not sure that the might trigger a resist check? that might make all of the subsequent spells fail to cast? Not sure here) Or the idea that only one of the secondary cast spells cost mana. I can bring it up to Aristo.
[57476/2735] Beramos' Maelstrom Resist: Unresistable It triggers a resist check with or without the tiny damage and yes it would prevent anything else from being cast if it was resisted.
Keep in mind that some other abilities like Shocking Vortex Effect may start to come into play when changing these spells around. This one in particular has a limit of 100 mana and that change was added to prevent weapon procs from using counters. If these spells are some proc/spell hybrid idea then maybe they shouldn't benefit from it? I did think it a bit odd that some ranger spells and bst spells seem to work similarly while some benefited from shocking vortex and some didn't based on where the mana cost happened to be applied. Might want to make them all consistent.
