Deity Symbols

    Deity Symbols are a quest line that are ancient, and that at one point supposedly went all the way up to grow with the specific deity for race/class. Today, there are so many race/class combinations and effects that having differentiated Deity Symbols would be impossible.

    Each archetype typically has it's own unique thing, along with specific classes get their own unique thing. Priests having one unique clicker per expansion is something that may take more time, but would place back in an underpinning into the core system that we're missing from differentiation to express the divine aspects of the game from a roleplayer sense.

    What are your thoughts?

    Content is all/all to maximize the multiplier on limited developer time. Dedicated roleplayers, as a demographic to serve, have approximately the same footprint in EQ as pvpers. You need a population more like that of Prog servers interested in your idea (said interest to be measured by actual investment. people that subscribe to access it.) to slice out a meaningful chunk of dedicated development time.

    Every level 110 character has long since surpassed any of the gods.
    Worshipping icons of a lesser being than oneself is a step back, hence there are none anymore.
    It can't be any other way.

    Pfft, the gods are alive and well. I remember one messing around with our fonts not too long ago.
