What is this? I see it in the calendar. this is my first time around for these anniversaries that I can remember.
Started in 2009 it is EQ's version of Halloween. Lots of disguises, candy and special missions/tasks. At some point everyone in the guild lobby is turned into various mobs - at least till they zone. Pretty good run down here: http://everquest.fanra.info/wiki/Halloween
As the folks above me have said, it's EQ's special Halloween celebration! This might be a helpful rundown: https://www.everquest2.com/news/eq2-nights-of-the-dead-oct-2017 Edit: Er... please ignore the workings of my currently spread-too-thin brain
yes but Roxxlyy how does this apply to TLP servers and such or more specifically the EQ1 servers as the link you provided is to eq2
I could not find it for EQ 1 either lol but I know its out there cause it is in Fanras link that I posted "For 2017, Nights of the Dead begin on October 11 at 00:01 PT and end on November 7 at 23:59 PT."
Well, I may have been switching back and forth between tabs too quickly... thank you for calling out my mistake. Yikes. In any case, Fanra's wiki is currently the best source of information on the event. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be getting myself some coffee. Edit: There's now a very brief rundown of the event on the EQ website (https://www.everquest.com/news/eq-nights-of-the-dead-event-oct-2017) but this still links out to the wiki for more details
