Return of the Exiled is currently filling out our ranks on the Cazic Thule server. I created the guild during TDS on March 2nd 2015. At that point 9 guilds had already beaten TBL. We had a fantastic build up during initial recruiting and managed to start raiding within a month. We completed TDS 16th fastest game-wide as a guild that was less than 3 months old. We completed TBM 10th fastest game-wide. We completed EOK 7th fastest game-wide. We completed ROS 8th fastest game-wide. We completed TBL 7th fastest game-wide. We completed TOV 3rd fastest game-wide. We completed COV 5th fastest game-wide. We completed TOL 8th fastest game-wide. We completed NOS 9th fastest game-wide. We completed LS 10th fastest game-wide. At this point we are have a solid history of being a strong competitor in the race. As always we hope to continue climbing the ladder next expansion. We are seeking outstanding players with years of raiding experience. We expect applicants to have a strong ISP and a solid, newer computer that is capable of running Everquest with no issues. We want skilled players that know the subtleties of their class, with a good understanding of common expectations of what their class should be able to do on a raid as well as the ability to communicate effectively in game or in our Discord channel via headsets. We do of course offer on the job training from some very talented people. We are not a casual guild, we will hold our members to a high standard. Our idea of fun is focusing up, kicking butt, and collecting loot in an efficient manner. Only apply on whatever toon you consider your main. It is not usually possible to apply on an alt and then try to swap to your main once you make full member. The app period is 30 days minimum, no exceptions. We evaluate each new applicant and hold them to high standards. If a player fails to reach the standard at the end of 30 days but their sponsor feels that with an additional week or two of coaching the standard can be reached, an extension will be offered to the applicant. New apps will receive 300dkp when they make full member. ROTE is serious about rewarding people for their efforts to improve the power of their toons outside of raid time. On top of the initial applicant bonuses, we award dkp bonuses for the completion of some expansions progression and various challenges. We want you to get those heroic AA and special augments to max out your character, and we will pad your dkp pile if you do so. Talk about incentives! Applicant Requirements: Prior higher end raiding experience Current group gear or recent expansion raid gear minimum Level 125 with 50,000aa minimum At least 3/4ths of the maxxed cap or more towards Hero's Fortitude, Hero's Vitality and Hero's Resolution AA (typically gained by completing progression tasks) Completed Slayer achievements. - Destroyer of worlds. Epic 2.0 for relevant classes, bard, shammy, SK, etc Good compliment of type 5/7/8 augments that are relevant to your class All type 5/7/8 aug slots filled.. how does one even consider applying without a full set of augs?! Some class specific items: (Required - Must attain within 60 days of app date) Paladin - DA hammer Bard - Symphony of Battle clicky Druid, Shaman - Rez stick Bards and int casters - Orb of Tishan or The Lady's Entreaty All classes should have a good assortment of potions and clickies, especially for cures, instant gates and Divine Aura. Complete set of class relevant type 5/7/8 augments from TOV or better. (Exceptions obviously exist for things like Sacred Prayers Shawl augs, Artisans Prize and Forgotten gemstone/Nathsar Diamond). Our raid schedule is as follows: Sunday - 730pm - 11pm EST (occasionally 6pm during new content or special events) Monday - 730pm - 11pm EST Tuesday - 730pm - 11pm EST (Seldom, wtb more content) Wednesday - 730pm - 11pm EST (only during new content) Other days may be added during the beginning of new content. BETA raids are mandatory during new content. We hit lockout timers for every 5th day during flagging of new expansions or to help facilitate special item acquisition. We've done a pretty kickass job in BETA. Over 20 legitimate wins (at least 5 didnt count because the flags didnt appear on the cursor) in T1 to flag up for T2 raids without the assistance of the GM's to piggy us into higher tiers. There is also a bug or maybe working as intended that when a player is dead when an event is beaten, they are very often not receiving the flag, hence all the extra wins in T1 to flag the raid force. Everything we've learned has been all through our own efforts. We've made good progress in T2 and are excited about our position when the expansion goes live. Updated the original post to reflect current needs. I would take 1 elite toon from pretty much all classes that arent tanks. Extremely high need for a talented shaman or two. We defeated the Prince in T2 8th serverwide but would have been 4th if the Cazic server hadnt crashed and cost us raid nights 3 separate times. So if you want to raid with a guild thats a top 5 talent, but with the adversity of a top 10 underdog heres your chance!
Free recruit plug for Silent Redemption, had Cazic not been crashed those days, they would have got the Prince 5th instead of 7th!
Really could use a shammy or two and of course a solid dozen bards, cant have too many! Working T2 - should have the Queen down after our next round of T1 flags this Friday.

Finished the expansion at number 7 serverwide. Could use some excellent caster dps to fill out the ranks. Outstanding melee dps will be considered. Could possibly sneak in one or two elite shammys as well. Tanks are basically closed unless someone is hyper-elite.

Thanks Bam! T3 is pretty intense. Overall a really fun, challenging expansion for the most part, crappy server stability and a handful of bugs aside. Good luck on the rest of the expansion and tell all my old Sacred Fyre people hi!
My goal is to get into the top 5 gamewide to beat an expansion. We missed our goal this expansion by 10 days. The biggest problem that held us back was flagging. We only had 25 flagged on our first day in T2 and only lower 30s the first day in T3. We had little problem beating the events once we managed to flag up enough to nearly fill the 54 limit, so during new content, the expectated raid attendance next year is going to be high, no doubt about it. Now that we beat this expansion we will be taking it alot easier. Sunday Monday and if need be Tuesday is the plan. Tank classes and healers tend to need to be available for higher attendance, but dps classes can slide a bit more. We do not have an official minimum requirement currently.
Today is the 2nd birthday for ROTE. Its been a fun ride with so much success so fast and we are looking forward to continuing the climb in the years to come. Sure would love another beastlord and some strong caster dps classes!
Where are all the caster dps?! Also really would love another high attendance beastlord. It seems like there is always alot of turnover for many guilds in the fall before a new expansion. We get a ton of apps then, and we usually lose a few people then. It doesnt make much sense to me to go into new content as an app and be at the very bottom for any new loot the guild takes in. With that in mind, dont wait til the last minute to move on, join a new guild in the spring or summer and get yourself to full member and earn yourself a little bit of dkp so youre in a good position for the next expansion! Dont wait til fall to app, get in now and get to full member, gear up and save yourself a little dkp nest before the next expansion. Heavy emphasis on caster dps still, and could use another beastlord, and bard or two, and maybe even a well played ranger!
