Can we get the Bazaar max sale price raised?

Can you please bump max sale price up to 5 million plat from its current 2 million.

Krono inflation means prices of many rare item will be priced out of bazaar. 2 million price limit used to cover cost of two krono + change. Currently it only covers the cost of one krono + almost another. This inflation has the effect of pushing high value rare items out of the bazaar becuse as krono inflates in price those items move upward in lock step. Once that inflation drives value past 2 million point those items vanish from bazaar.

It's a 32bit number limit. The limit is actually 2,147,483,647cp. You have to edit your ini file to set something to that amount (you could do that when the limit was 1mil). They'd have to do significant work to redo the bazaar to separate out cp/sp/gp/pp in the pricing.

When Nobles were introduced, I was all excited that they would be usable as currency in the bazaar so you could set prices for a certain amount of them - going into the millions.

But no. They were forgotten, it seems, to be left on the old items vendor. It's sad.

It's not a database limit its a game design choice they made when almost no items were worth more then the max price.

No, they've said multiple times that they cannot increase the price beyond 2 million plat without significant reworking of how money works in the game (Smokezz explained it in more detail/better). Essentially all money values are actually measured in copper, even though you see them as platinum. The maximum value of something in the bazaar simply cannot go over about 2 million unless they fundamentally change how the system works (which is no small task).

Individual players also have same platinum, gold, silver, and copper system and have no problem holding over two million plat.

There maybe some code that needs to be changed but its not a huge unsolvable problem.

So it could pretty much be done overnight if the right circumstances needed it.

It's a technical limitation (2 ^ 32 copper). It's not unsigned so it's 2 billion not 4. There are likely many places all over the code that use this number, so it's not easy to raise it.
Easy to increase. Hard to verify it won't break in places or that they didn't miss one.
