    Gday!! :)

Ive been searching for some recent Beastlord Parse's. Im wondering what most BL are hitting during a raid situation in a MAX burn. Assuming the stars all align with Bard, Sham, Zerk etc in group...

What kinda numbers are people putting out....

    Cheers :)

Looks like you did very well with the current expansion. 1st 4 on the parse were wizards exceeding 200k by a healthy margin, then beasts, then the melee dps. Grats.

This isn't what the OP is asking for (but may be of interest). Looks like Brudal's info is from a high end guild (and as stated when the stars align).

Here are some October/November parses where beastlords were on the parse. This isn't necessarily when stars align (they'd be the ones to know that) but from a 'rank 30-ish' guild for comparisons I thought someone might find something useful or interesting.

I'm not convinced that our bst are particularly maxing their dps, but they are often in the main dps groups (I know they can target RFury, but we usually keep them in with the melee/shaman/bard assuming we have all 3 - FAR from an automatic given). Top 3 classes, excluding duplicates + then bst.

Good god, your DPS classes are doing Tank level DPS.

No idea what they can do at 105, but at 100 they could comfortably hit 140/150k and with some luck 180 - 200k (i've never seen a 200k from a beast lord, but theres atleast one out there that has, I've seen a handful of 180/190's from a beast lord i am guilded with tho)

Welcome to the 30-40 level guilds tend to sit :). Keep in mind I said this wasn't where the stars aligned as I wouldn't know that (they'd have to post their own). This is every day parsing over a couple months time.

Safe to say there's probably 5 or 6 that can hit 200k now, and a few others that have hit 200k that are retired now.

Our sustained took the biggest jump over anything. I have hit 198k on our last AH run but our sustained has been way better all things considered. I am finishing in the top 5 on AM1 regularly with one wizzy beating me and no melee really close minus a rogue.

Advice, if thats the true parse, then fire your dps

True, and as soon some starts to stand out, the odds for them to guild change increases big time.

Note this is at lvl 105 using only maul and new pet/pet buffs from TDS. I am in full CotF T1 Visables. And have CoTF T2 weapons. So guessing with new weapons, focus, spells you will see 250k parse on bsts very often on a straight burn.

Personally I've never hit 200k on a raid, that's not to say that I couldn't peak at 200k or higher, I just don't think it's efficient in the current raid setting (IE. all the events are too long).

I think the only event that it's efficient and makes sense with raid strategy is on Bone Crusher in Neriak 1, if in the second part of the event the melee aren't engaging Nightmare Devourer. Maybe the second one off in Arx in a few months 'if' none of the emotes impede on dps, but currently it doesn't die fast enough.

There's no other event that I can think of where, as a Beastlord, it's a good idea to blow BA and SR at the same time (which you would need to hit 200k+) and for some Beastlords likely RF and Spirit Frenzy as well. Though there are a couple of very special situations with the AE hammer + proc belt + bloodlust + etc but that's a whole other thread. Likewise if you're getting some of the newer enc effects (iog, mana recursion) it would help but those should really be going to wizards/mages & necros(?) as their spell dps is significantly higher than ours.

Whenever you use two "Increase hit damage %" discs/aa's you lose the lower of the two effects. Even though the two spells might 'stack' you will still be losing the lower hit dmg % mod.

    BA
    Increase hit damage 275%
    SR
    Increase hit damage 154%
    Ferociousness
    Increase hit damage 100%
    GBA
    Increase hit damage 40%
    Growl
    Increase hit damage 20%

Likewise with RF and Spirit Frenzy, you lose the lower of the two Hundred Hands Effects

    Spirit Frenzy
    Decrease weapon delay 570
    RF
    Decrease weapon delay 338

That's not to say you gain nothing at all from hitting them at the same time, because there are still other effects in those buffs (as well SR and RF landing on your pet) but it is to say that you're losing sustained dps to make a higher parse for at most 1min 6seconds. And anything that is dying that fast likely means you could have used some of your disciples elsewhere to increase your overall sustained parse and likelihood of a successful raid.

I'm not sure that this post pertains 100% to the purpose of this thread, I just felt it was relevant to the subject for Beastlords who are trying to improve and looking at this thread for reference on where they should be. It is definitely a valuable skill to be able to peak at your highest possible dps but like the common question of "How much can you bench?" it's not always as important of a stat as it's made out to be.

    10,252,000 (damage) /209,222 (dps)=49 seconds
    240,000*40=9,600,000
    10,252,000-9,600,000=652,000
    652,000 (damage) / 9 (seconds) = 72,444 DPS

    Things we can deduce:
    • Of the 62 seconds, you attacked for 49 of them.
    • If your claim of 240k for 40s is accurate, you did 72,444 DPS for the last 9 seconds that you attacked.
What faded 40 seconds in to drop you that dramatically?
