    You know what? Give the PS4 players the Batman-inspired Mask from the Hack! Yeah, that will make me happy. I'll be OK after that. Why not? The only reason the players got it before was because they couldn't access your game! How is this any different???

    I know they won't do it, but I threw it out there all the same, LOL.

    Does this also apply to PSG PC members? We have had exactly the same downtime this week as US ones, only to get an announcement at the end of it that basically said, "ALL PC Legendary accounts now have a super-marvelous-wonderful All Access pass, but not you, because SOE transferred your accounts to us." :mad:

    If 50 replay badges is a slap in the face, that was a kick to the crotch.

    I posted this in another thread, but I'll leave it here as well...

    I'm really finding it hard to believe this excuse that it's all because of the all access thing being sprung on them at the last minute. Sony is in the business of making money, as is so frequently pointed out on these forums, and recent events are costing them money as well as threatening future potential for making more of it.You can't tell me that there isn't ONE person at SOE with decision making power that didn't see the high potential for this happening if this decision were made so off the cuff and haphazardly like we are led to believe. It just doesn't fit with a major corporation's MO.
    Look at all the people who have come out of the woodwork to post on this forum that never do (or even have before) this week. There are probably even more that aren't being vocal that are contemplating why they are spending money on a game that they can't play. People are angry, and rightfully so.
    I think some serious damage control is in order here, and not just the "we're sorry and we're working on it" line that has basically become a joke within the last 48 hours amongst the community.
    My suggestion to the DCUO crew would be to set up a livestream for some serious Q&A with the community. Set up something on the forums where the players can ask questions and we vote them up. The most popular ones will be addressed by the staff in detail and maybe have a short time at the end for constructive feedback from the players.
    In my opinion, this would be a major stride toward repairing a relationship with a customer base that this week has left feeling bruised and bitter, and players could feel like they were getting a straight answer for once rather than vague excuses and hopefully some insight into measures that will be taken so that something this catastrophic can be avoided in the future.

    I am able to get on but my PS4 chat system is going wonky. I am unable to type anything via onscreen keyboard or external keyboard (.__.)

    Look we can all agree the compensation wasn't worth the downtime, but to say that ps4 players should only get a rare item glitch is absurd we are in this **** together, Us ps3 players have now out dated systems and the **** take san hour to loa dif it does load and doesn't disconnect us. lol. So Stuff the ps4 have it worse?!?! we are all equally screwed on the downtime, and the continuous glitches in the game, the constant disconnects.

    I was being FACETIOUS. I don't expect they will give anything different to PS4 players, let alone ANY players, regardless of what we play the game on!

    Ohhh Swizzle sticks! I mean, the replay badges should be equal to compensate the running all the T6 stuff for each day lost but hey. Can't look a gift horse in the mouth. Meppsie-poo and the great team at DCUO you guys didn't have to do this. Thanks on behalf of everyone of the players :) You guys rock harder than Led Zeppelin. Okay maybe not THAT hard but still :) Yeah thanks guys!

    Everybody complaining about the badges, simmer down. I know, it's not much but hey. It was a kind gesture and truth be told, the fine print YOU agreed to (or skipped over and clicked "yes") before you started playing specifically stated legally that in cases like this, the company doesn't have to do jack squat for us if the game goes offline or becomes temporarily unplayable like it has for many apart from doing their hardest to get it running again. They didn't HAVE to do this for us. It was a kind gesture.

    They couldn't access the game for a MONTH. And it was because accounts were hacked into. From sources outside the companys jurisdiction. Imho, there was a lot more at stake on everybodys part.

    Hate me all you want but I think "I'm sorry and we're working on it" means "I'm sorry and we're working on it."

    Look, I don't know everything there is to know about programming, but I sure as heck can fix a car and I can tell you this much. Sometimes even the smallest job can turn into the biggest project. There are times when you take apart one thing to fix it and you find something else broken and so on and so forth. Either learn to code, knock on their door and help them out, play a different game for the time being, or get something to drink and watch a movie. Heck My provider has Batman and Justice League cartoons on demand this week. It'll be alright. Be patient

    Wow...a whole 50 replay badges. So apparently our loyalty means enough to do what maybe 4x12 pt missions. Way to show your appreciation.

    I was there during the hack (not on DCUO). I got my free games as a reward for my loyalty back then. The point you seem to be missing is this: Those of us who are paying customers (not Free Members) feel like we're being robbed of our hard earned dollars due to the FACT that we are paying for a service, yet we are denied that service due to INCOMPETENCE on somebody's part. Giving us 50 replay badges is a nice gesture and all (yes, one they didn't have to do for us), but is it really proper compensation for all we've been through? I don't believe so. And I'm not alone.

    I'm gonna tell you exactly what I was told when the loot rules switched for T5. "At least you got something. It's better than nothing." And it is.
    Yes, 50 badges is extremely low. But it was a gift. A gesture of kindness. For example, if your granny slaved over a hot oven to bake you cookies, you should say "thank you". Not "You filthy old cow, I wanted chocolate chip!". I dunno. Manners I suppose. Not trying to be harsh or flame you or anybody else. I see your point and don't entirely disagree but still, ya know?

    If my granny made me some cookies, I wouldn't complain because she gave them as a gift. However, I wasn't paying her for chocolate chip when she instead gave me oatmeal raisin. Your analogy doesn't really fit here.

    Since you referenced cars before, I'll use an example you might understand better..... Let's say you're leasing a new car....you pay your monthly bill and expect the car to run properly while you operate it. If it doesn't, you expect the dealership to repair it quickly so you can be on your way, right? Well, let's say this car needs an entirely new transmission, but instead of fixing the transmission, the dealership decides to tint the windows for you as compensation instead. How would that sit with you? o_O

    Actually, seeing as we all signed a contract that states we didn't have to be refunded or compensated, it constitutes as a gift. Yes Triumph it blows. But it beats nothing.
    As far as a free window tinting with my transmission job? Are you talking my Accord or my Suburban? In that case, all Suburbans are tinted from the factory and my Accord...well it wouldn't be half bad. Might even relieve some of the sun hitting that leather upholstery this summer :p

    This 50 replays, does it go out to everybody (legendary, premium, free) and what if we couldn't log on within that time because the game was down?

    Honestly, it's not that I don't appreciate the gesture of the 50 Replay Badges, I do. But, what I'd REALLY love to see happen is for them to get the game up and running properly so we can all get back to fighting the good fight.

    And, I didn't say you'd get the free tinting with your transmission repair. I said you'd get your windows tinted INSTEAD of them repairing your transmission, LOL.
