honestly its generational......carter had that classic calender girl figure and g whatever looks like another victorias secret fashion week catwalk person...if this were the 80s we would be discussing some lean muscled actress...like jamie lee curtis

Could not disagree more...the general storyline in almost all media nowadays shows flash as a great hero...the cw wisely kept his wife girl...whatever...in his show so his emotional intensity and maturity could show...it gives the plot moral focus as well...why isnt the flash a bad guy??/...he was raised by a good family taken in by a loving policeman learned right from wrong...fell in love...nothing childish...and smarts wise they let him at least glance at his job now and then...hes a scientist....who is shown almost the equal of the genius' on the show. even in the cartoons the flash became both the moral focus of an earths justice league...once he was gone they became corrupt...he was also shown to be the JLs boss killer....when luthor and brain merge and become a "god"...it isnt supermans racing or GL flying the speed of light that stops him/them/it...its the flash becoming a living weapon forged of the speed force itself that does that...

Exactly! All three have more of a muscular athletic figure (and can act) more than that God-awful stick-model

Didn't we just get one? But they had to change it for those idiots who didn't feel the name was appropriate for their non-Flush speedster

Okay you read a bit too much into my statement. Hawkgirl was a favorite on Justice League and JL Unlimited for me as well mainly because I loved the total warrior attitude she displayed and then after The 3 part episode where the Thanagarians invade earth they showed her help her true friends foil the invaders plans. The Unlimited her character evolves and we got to see a much more caring side.. Of course she was still able to beat the tar out of anything or anyone that needed it.

All that said my statement is still some what accurate... Even in the comic books those TV animated characters were based on the female super heroes and villains were always DRAWN to appeal to the teen age male readers that made up the majority of the buyers.



Now here are a couple of pictures of Shiera and John side by side. Notice that Hawkgirl's outfit reveals a lot of skin.... Only skin showing on John is that bald head of his. Now things are changing slowly.. After a huge outcry the Spiderwoman outfit that Milo Manara came up with was done away with but going all the way back to the 1940 and the creation of Wonder Woman herself .. comic artists drew their female heroes in very tight, skimpy outfits to entice more teen ages boys to BUY the comics.

Now back on track I agree I would love to see a Gal Gadot version of Wonder Woman in game..I think that outfit looks more like something a female warrior would wear into battle. We kind of already had a Wonder Woman emblem given to us a while back but I would not be opposed to another (Please god can it just be awarded to us and not another thing people need to spend a small fortune on to get opening time capsules). I would definitely agree to more Bombshell stuff of any kind. I love the style and the fact that it takes us back to the 1940s when all of those characters were brand new.. heck back then the reality is some of them hadn't even been created yet. After the original Bombshell merchandise arrived in game I was sort of surprised they just quit.. I'd have loved to have had some Bombshell Christmas Posters for the base and league halls.

Slight side trip... Yeah Flash was a favorite on Justice league and Unlimited for me as well. He was funny but still just as good as anyone in the League. My favorite was the Flash Museum episode where the Rogues band together and try to kill him.. by the end orion realizes the "goofy" act is just the way the Flash keeps his adversaries off balance.

They should probably release some Martian Manhunter stuff to celebrate the Wonder Woman movie.

Summer of wonder was amazing last summer, I miss all those releases and hairstyles on the MP.

I'd love another Amazon hair pack. I like the AoJ Wonder Woman costume style but I'd rather have the Wonder Woman movie costume. Who am I kidding though, if it was in the market I'd buy it all, lol.

That... is actually true: one of her early weaknesses, was being tied up, and there were many issues in which that happened

dont forget phantom lady...she got used like that a lot too...comics code really made writers change how they treated women

shes one of my favorite characters. i'm a font of weird and useless wonder woman trivia.

the (thankfully) unaired (and god awful) pilot to the wonder woman tv series from a few years back can be found on youtube but if you really want a good laugh look up the unaired pilot for the proposed wonder woman series in the 60's...

although i love the character (and really I love donna more...) i do feel like we've had a little oversaturation of the character in game hence my crack for more plasticman. and metamorpho. and the doom patrol. and the legion (which my wilder sense is tingling. i think we just might see them in game)...

kind of funny how the big bad is ares and steppenwolf in the upcoming jla movie.

I disagree about the Flash getting the least attention. Out of all the founding members of the Justice League, realistically Martian Manhunter has had zero content. I'd say second would be Aquaman. It would be great to see an Aquaman episode.

Not exactly sure who she is, was she one of the Legion of Super-Heroes?

If we don't get styles and hairstyles in the MP for Wonder Woman's day and movie release I'm going to be REALLY PISSED OFF.

well Aquaman isnt part of the justice league in DCAU and they did bring up J'onn J'onzz lack of interaction with the world in Unlimited and J'onn J'onzz decide to take leaves from Justice League to forge a connection with humanity didnt help with his screen time as he pretty much disappear until the season finale XD

I have a feeling we aren't going to get anything. It's less than a day away and they haven't announced a thing. I can hear it now, "We gave you guys a shield, happy Wonder Woman day!"
