why doesnt DCUO advertise on TV and IGN?

Television advertising is expensive and ineffective because dcuo is a niche interest title.

Web advertising is going towards ineffective, most users actively ignore ads, and the number of people using ad block is going up every year.

I think DCUO could benefit of some advertisment. On game blogs or whatever. There are still loads of ppl that have no clue about AdBlock etc. The best would be an ad in comic books or stores. xD

Maybe. To me, it just goes with what I've gathered during my years of playing this game. It's an afterthought.
