It just hit me! When I first started playing the game ages ago, I remember having the Mayan Legs on my Ice character. Now, don't get me wrong, I know they're on Vendor 22 but has anyone wondered why they stopped dropping from their in the first place????
They were moved to the T2 weekly boxes along with portions of other styles way back when these boxes were introduced. Why? Dunno. All I know is I went in and played that solo a few days ago and came out with five back pieces.
Talk about a waste of content. If players get lucky, they'll only need to run it one time and never have to run it again (aside from the Marks) but after a certain point, that instance becomes useless (I still visit Selina time to time, however) It could be a money grab, to get players to rerun and farm those pesky duos, and the rare vendor 22 unit is still in my opinion too pricey and not worth it. In a sense it's just cruelty. I'm hoping they reuse the Mayan style like they did Hive Defender but that would also make the Catwoman solo less worthy of running. Thank goodness it has a rare style in the loot table!!
While the Catwoman Mayan drops are a joke, I at least like to run it for the chance at the Iconic Goggles or Legs and the fact it helps with the salvage feat with all the blue drops that I already have.
