I just came back to DCUO after some time away. I ran the launcher and clicked play. All I got was a white screen which would then vanish back to my desktop and the launcher would also just disappear. I've tried validating game assets, uninstalling and then reinstalling but no use. Shouldn't be my anti-virus since I have checked that DCUO is a trusted application. What else can I do?
Did this happen after doing a windows update? Seems many people are having this issue. Try updating your drivers or roll back the update till windows or video manufacturer updates its drivers. I updated to new windows update and found AMD had updated its drivers. I get white screen but game does launch!
