Which Robin is in DCUO? I know it sounds stupid but hear me out

I've Developed a theory that the Robin in the game is Jason Todd, a lot of people say it's Tim Drake but I have evidence going towards Jason.
There is a feat for Legends PvP if you kill Robin in Legends PvP with Joker, using his crowbar, if this robin is Tim. why would they bring up Jason's death in a feat though,
The game NEVER mentions Jason, and his death,
Red Hood has never been used in this game. and never been mentioned
(I don't know if this last point is true, but) Tim is the more serious Robin trying to succeed in the mantle, he's not going to crack something funny in the middle of battle, Jason might.
(Btw I think it's anonymous on the Robin's because it doesn't matter which one since it doesn't have to do with the story, but I thought it was a cool theory)

Reply below if you agree or disagree and maybe we'll get confirmation from a dev

    It's Tim.

The game has all the active characters of the time period at which the game was made, to which Tim was the most recent Robin.

Now the Devs did as much as they could to throw in as much DC history as possible, in many ways from blatant to subtle. That feet could be just one those things.

As for not mentioning Jason or his death somewhere in the game, it just wasn't something that fit in with the content being made. It is just a game after all not a comic book, so detailing everything just isn't possible.

This universe has also had a world war 3.
Briefing in alley in Gotham near freezes hospital says "black adam of ww 3 fame " so anything can b different

The Joker has a line about "with a crowbar" and "too soon?". It's there in legends, not sure if it also shows up in missions with the Joker. I agree with Ankh that DCUO Robin is Tim Drake.

The costume used in game is more prevalent of the style Tim Drake wore than Jason Todd.

I think it's safe to say that Robin is Tim Drake just like the Batgirl in game is most likely Cassandra Cain (since that's closer to her outfit).

Yup. Were basically post crisis, post zero hour, post infinite crisis, post final crisis with a little bit of flashpoint thrown in.

    but pre rebirth.

I've always figured that the lore of the game started being developed right smack dab in the middle of 52/One Year Later.

Storylines that highlighted Black Adam/Isis, Felix Faust, Batwoman, Booster Gold, The Question, Steel, T. O. Morrow and Oolong Island ran through much of that time period, leading to their inclusion in DCUO. (And of course the Robin in DCUO is wearing Tim's OYL outfit.)

Sadly, no Ralph Dibny appearance ... yet!

i don't know how "post final crisis" we'd be actually. we have the classic version of kirby's new gods (as opposed to them being avatars possessing humans or whatever it was they did right after)...but we also have barry Allen as the Flash. Funny how i can remember details in comics from the 60's but a few years back is fuzzy but isn't that when barry allen came back and wally took a back seat...

(no Wally West in game = :( )

Well, 52 was in between Infinite Crisis and Final Crisis so one could argue that's why we got the Fourth World characters in their classic form. However, I think it's more likely that these decisions happened later in the development process...

You see, Wally was originally intended to be The Flash in DCUO. Check out his costume in this 2008 Trailer (about 20 seconds in):

    The belt makes it Wally.

However, later in the year, DC brought Barry back, causing some possible confusion amongst the populace. I think that it was about this time that the DCUO people decided to create a 'best of' universe. That way, they could bring Barry in, avoid the fact that Bruce Wayne was dead and so on. They could pick and choose the most 'classic' of universes and characters.

Heck, one of the reasons I love playing DCUO is because of that 'time long forgotten' feel to it. Superman has his underwear on the outside. Barbara Gordon is Oracle. And Darkseid isn't a possessed Dan Turpin.

Truth to tell, there's really only one thing missing from DCUO that would make it the perfect version of the DCU for me ... and just like in Rebirth, that's Wally. :D

Wally really does need to come in. There's plenty of characters missing from the game but he is without a shadow of a doubt top of the "Where the hell are they?" list. Out of universe, sure it makes sense, in-universe... nope.

If the DC Comics Universe can handle two Wally Wests, I'm sure DCUO can handle two Flashes.

Slight correction, she is batwoman. We don't have batgirl in dcuo. :(

Batgirl is in the game, some what.

The Cassandra Cain version is the T2 vendor in the Tech wing of the Watchtower.

We also have the original Batgirl, Barbra Gordon in the game but as her other identity of Oracle.

Batwoman, Katherine Kane is a big part of the game. She is apart of the fight with Scarecrow, gives the Bane mission line and is in the Intergang missions.

You've already been corrected so I'll I will say is,

    "Wrong Cain, my friend"

    :D

Although if it helps, even if it's a less desirable version of Batgirl (for me, anyways) I'd rather her still be used in the game somehow other than just handing out gear.

If we're going to leave Babs as Oracle, I'd rather have Stephanie as our Batgirl. But that's just me. :D

Vic would be complicated since we've already seen Renee as The Question in DCUO.

However, it could easily be done with a wee bit of time travel. Ted Kord should be dead in a post-Infinite Crisis world (and the devs have said that if/when they add Blue Beetle it'll probably be Jaime), but that doesn't preclude the devs from creating a time-travel episode that would include Vic Sage as The Question, Ted Kord as Blue Beetle, Captain Atom, Nightshade, Peacemaker and Thunderbolt. It could be a nice nod to an alternate-reality version of The Watchmen.

    In comics, anything is possible!

We've already had this conversation and I stated that's who I'd rather have represent Batgirl in this game.

Stephanie may have had the shortest time actually being Batgirl but the only who held that mantle who was better than her was Babs (and frankly I actually prefer Babs as Oracle, it made her more interesting.

Not holding my breath there though, Sciencespire was the perfect chance to mention Vic since he was the only reason that thing didn't kill superman...but noooo. No love for paranoid objectivist zen shaman investigative conspiracy theorists.:(
