I've been creating a list of old arcade games that I'd want included in a MAME unit. Here's my list so far: Tron & Disks of Tron; Galaga; Gyruss; Rush'N Attack; Commando; Contra; Ninja Gaiden; Ghost n Goblins; Strider; Gauntlet; Smash TV; the Legend of Kage; Rampart; Cyberball; PacMan & MrsPacMan; Donkey Kong; Popeye; Joust; Missile Command; Qbert; TM Ninja Turtles; Simpsons; RC Pro Am; Tecmobowl; Centipede; Time Killers; Mortal Kombat; Marvel vs Capcom 2; Afterburner; Space Harrier; Dig Dug; Super Mario Brothers; Street Fighter; Double Dragon; Track and Field; NBA Jam; Golden Axe; Robotron; Smash TV.... I thought it'd be great if some of the old arcade games were remade with high res textures and backgrounds. No changes to the old format of the game, just use awesome skins. Like Street Fighter has gotten over the years with each new version better graphics, enhanced collision detection, and a stylized illustrated look. I'll presume licensing would prevent a company from rebuilding the old games with high res textures for the sprites and backgrounds. Such bad collision detection. hehhehheh, but fun back then. What games would you include in your MAME unit? Has anyone gotten a MAME cabinet from anyone that you'd recommend?
The Metal Slug Collection Also Burger Time, Crazy Climber, Zaxxon, Lunar Lander, Battle Zone, Satan's Hollow, Mr. Do, Crystal Castle, Star Castle, Tempest Sinistar (which always scared the crap out of me.)

I would recommend (if it isn't mentioned already): Double Dragon, Commando, Streets of Rage, Ikari Warriors, Zaxxon, Dragon Warrior, Ninja Gaiden (NES), Marble Madness, Arkanoid, Samurai Shodown, Centipede, Altered Beasts, Galaga, Metal Slug, Xevious, Darkstalkers, Cruzin', Pole Position, Star Wars, Ghosts n' Goblins, Sinistar, Kid Icarus, Pitfall, Burger Time!, Fatal Fury, R-Type, Dig-Dug, Mr. Do!, Splatter House, Strider, Final Fight, Tapper, Flicky, Golden Axe, Astyanax, Gradius, Toobin', Ice Climber, X-Men-Children of the Atom, Killer Instinct. I am sure there are more I can think of at some point.
The stand-up arcade versions of: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles GIJoe Avengers X-Men I really miss them old side scroller beat-em-ups.
