Which 8 man Raid/Operation gave you the most nightmares?

For me i thought that i would never experience something worse than Paradox Wave but now i did. This ''New Genesis Now'' Tier 7 operation im trying for 6 days to do it, i am screaming in lfg/shout chat to find people, after 2 hours when i complete group we go in and all the group gets 1 shotted by the first boss even when they are all 130+ cr its still impossible. When i go to sleep i see pictures of the raid and me wiping again,i think of giving up. The most annoying is that the queue system is completely useless in this game i must still shout and type 1 hour in the chat just to find 8 people while other mmos you just click 1 button and it puts you automaticly with 20+ people after 5 minutes.

New Genesis now isn't that bad once you learn the mechanics. I recommend looking it up on you tube. Happiness home however, now that's some rough ****.

Paradox Wave for sure on release. NGN I've never really tried. Not super big on the NG stuff. I may need give it a shot.

NGN is a cakewalk compared to what FOS2 was like when it first went live. I don't remember how soon i completed it after it went live~i should check my feat list to refresh but there were many four and five hour nights spent trying to finish it. the OC raids were hard but they were more frustrating than suspenseful.

BC2 (Inner Sanctum). Beating it was a blast but it had arguably some of the most annoying enemies of the whole game. Looking at you, Wing Armors and ARC  Running into two Shield Armors and a bunch of adds with pugs whodon't get the idea of separating them, then trying to burn everything down brute force... priceless.

If your talking about tier for tier where no one is OP or no one being carried by a OP player and every one is within CR range. For me it's Parodox wave, Lockdown, and Inner sanctum. Those raids was to be bragged about.

I have to give khandaq to be up there as well tier for tier that raid was hrs of frustration at final boss everybody had to be on point with Khandaq

FoS2 was the hardest raid that I ever did, because everyone was running at base CR then. The best gear was vendor gear, and MoK could only be earned through Raids and Daily Alerts.

Lockdown. Everything they could possibly do to set us up for failure they did. People can't resist waiting 2 seconds and run into a black pool because some guy doesn't know how to move. And then after that, I swear those adds were the hardest adds I ever saw, and they added more adds to make it harder. Then Barda and the red stuff yuck. It turns well meaning teammates into nuclear weapons.

Pre-nerfed Paradox. No other raid has ever come close to making me spend 10 hours in them.

Paradox hands down. But I haven't run new stuff so...
And I can't run w my league so I just queue it up. Doesn't help...

I was literally in a BP run yesterday where one guy had full energy armor but didn't know how to cleanse his aura in the black holes/vortex. When I thought that my faith in pugging couldn't go any lower.. I got hit in the head with a flaming ball of ignorance.

Let's see here, if we are talking about when the game was first released:
Kahn - people not blocking when Adam would SHAZAM!
Inner - those drones that would suck the power out of the players during the final boss
FOS2 - that stupid bridge and DEATH BY POPCORN!
Prime - players that are not the tank getting balls to the chin

    Good times...as Nightwing would say.

NGN is not hard with an experienced group. Many 130+ players simply do not play raids until there CR is higher to make it easier. This means many 130+ characters have no idea when to block, where to place the artifact, etc....

Before you go in, find out who will call blocks, who are the players lunging and who has the artifact. When I get league runs for that content it runs smoothly.

FOS2 back in the day....when you were looking to do that raid, you had to earmark at least 3 hours....LOL

Anything run via pug is a nightmare.

But with league and friends it goes inner, fos 2, paradox, (when they were relevant).

    Paradox Wave , ~2 years ago .

As previously stated NGN is beatable once everyone knows the mechanics and I would argue right now there is a good portion of the community that still doesn't understand them (I always ask when I go in if anyone knows how to do the artifact part, some say yes and than do it in correctly still). In addition, regardless of the tanks power (although ice and earth have an easier time than fire and rage), that first boss is going to more than likely kill them if they aren't quick enough with migating the cone attack (they can lunge, you can lunge but if she has immunity a power will have to be used with a prayer) because that thing hits hard.

I would argue it's still paradox wave and nexus because back than half the problems were we couldn't see everything in there. In addition, that was when the community as a whole tried to start eliminating healers to stack damage (and hide the fact that some of them were bad damagers at that) and people died to stupid a lot (not saying they still don't). I would argue more groups back than had far more "epic fail" moments.

It's either BC 2 or Fos 2.. hard to say which was more painful, ARC or the bridge.
