What will "League Halls" mean for players who don't want a 'Real' League?

You can NOT compare these two. Getting feats is just a temporarily thing, you get it and you are done with the feat. I was getting most of the PvP feats with my league so it didn't really took alot of time.

These stat bonuses require you to join and stay in a league, it is NOT a temporarily thing, you are simply forced to stay in a league regardless if you like it or not.

However i found a league that i enjoy being in, so it won't effect us if we get the bonuses or not, we are beast regardless of having them or not. Im sorry for you guys if you need the stat bonuses that much, shows me what kind of players you must be if you gotta defend of having/needing them.

I don't think anyone is saying they NEED those boosts. Just liking the treat.

The ones you should be directing your post towards are the ones who somehow feel these tiny little boosts will somehow make league members more....uh......"beast?" then them. They seem to be the scared ones.

Lol, it's extremely obvious that you aren't a strong enough player to survive without these buffs. Players like me don't even care about the buffs, we just don't like lesser skilled players like you who come to the forums and call for nerfs. What a joke.

Exactly, the clown comes here and QQs that he doesn't get the buff, then tells us we are trash for "needing" it. What a joke. I don't give a damn if I get the buff. I just HATE people asking for a LEAGUE buff while not in a league. Don't ask for nerfs!

Yep im lesser skilled because i don't need a buff to get through content. Makes sense.

Btw i say removing the buffs because it is not fair forcing players to join a league who decide to stay leagueless. There is no reason to give leagues a buff, however for me it doesn't really matter having them or not. But the difference between you and me is that i can see peoples point who do not want to be forced joining a league to get the stat bonuses.

You chose to name call, which is why I find it impossible to find any value in your opinions let alone take you seriously. I have read the counter points, but still haven't seen one even slightly valid.

Funny cause i haven't read one valid point from people like you who obviously need the buff. But have read more good points from the other side, if you can't see it then you can only see your own benefits from this update.

I just had an epiphany.

"Sure, Leagues Halls sound awesome and I'm quite excited about a league base and extra bank space, but I'm the only 'person' in my league... Will I be able to earn enough prestige (in a reasonable time) to maintain or purchase anything?

As much as the Devs and most players are excited for league halls I hope that the devs have considered that - not everyone wants to be in a "Real" league."

I have 4 villain alts, none of which are in leagues currently. They are at 101, 91, 64 and 54 CR. Two of them have 2 bases. They have various SP.
I will make arrangements to put them all in one league, but ONLY those four. As a result, I will be the only "PERSON" in that league as I cannot run more than one at a time and will PUG each instance.
I'll park my heroes and run the 4 villains for a week, post my progress and see what one "person" can REALISTICALLY hope to benefit from the League Halls.

Fair enough?

We are obviously going to be tainted by our own opinions on this matter. I can respect and appreciate that. For me, I'm a hundred times more interested in the "fun" aspects of League Halls. I can't wait to see what they look like, how we can interact, etc.. The stats are merely a perk. That's how I view it. I'm simply going to refrain from discussing this anymore until they actually drop. Good day to you.

It figures that they would use stats as incentive, totally knowing it isn't truly fair, but not caring because they run the show... these devs smh. I can see why league members are for this, it benefits them lol. Someone said "leagues are finally getting what they deserve, deal with it" but stat boosts can't be that thing they deserve, nor should it be used as incentive to join a league in a mmorpg where so many players would rather pug, and definitely not in a mmorpg that continues to allow players the option of not being in a league.

If they truly want us to play together as leagues, why not make it mandatory from the door or when you reach level 30? They force all their other changes on us (including this one) no matter what we say so what's one more? At least then nobody could complain because that's the way it would be for EVERYONE. But this here... this will only breed hatred, it already has smh.

The internet and console gaming community is FILLED with rude, obnoxious, slow, racist, despicable, stubborn, etc. people that make joining a league a big fat NO for the majority of players. The "good" leagues or "good" potential league mates are too far and few between compared to how many people actually play this game... and you know this devs, afterall, you've been here from day 1. There are so many, MANY different things that could have been done instead to make halls unique and worthwhile, league-unique style sets, movement mode animations and easier sp probably being near the top of the list. The ideas pour into these forums on a daily basis but you chose the laziest of them...

Interesting idea, but you'll need more than a week. The live stream said it would take more than one week just to get enough to buy a league hall. Let alone get the money to create it, get the proficiencies, etc...

I'm failing to see how league halls are mandatory. The lone wolves who have signed up to play a MMO, an inherently social game, who are upset about incentives being offered to people in leagues aren't going to suddenly have their toons taken away if they choose not to join one. In the game as in life, there are choices. It's fine to choose to go it alone along a more anti-social route but it's unreasonable to get upset if some perks are there for people who play in leagues. I think everyone can agree there's really no problem with the league halls and bonuses as they're being laid out thus far.

Huh? I mentioned nothing like that. All I said is that I want to complain about all the ppl complaining basicly. I said nothing about playing with anyone. I want to see ppl encouraged to be social and work together. And I am honestly sick of ppl trying to take it away because it doesn't specifically benefit them.

Some things I'd like to point out:

(1) If proficiencies are no big deal and insignificant then we can just as easily leave them out right? Don't kid yourself folks. I see people go from arguing they're not game changers to accusing others of nerfing a good mechanic.. pick a stance already. They're either significant or insignificant, not both. Bottom line: the bonuses are real and they WILL improve your game. People WILL find a way to discriminate based upon this.

(2) This discussion is not just about lone wolf vs dedicated leaguemate. The proficiency costs are balanced around the estimate that you have FORTY-FIFTY active league members. I'm in Defection USPC, one of the oldest and most stable villain leagues on the server and we still don't have that many active members. I don't want proficiencies to encourage joining giant, impersonal leagues over small, tight knit leagues. The devs said themselves during the live stream that small leagues will not have as easy a time of it and that they'd have to work really hard to get some proficiencies.

The only factors of consideration in whether I join or leave a league should be: "Do I get along with these folks?" A fancy league hall is nice and all but I don't want factors like "can they afford proficiencies" or "are they buying the proficiencies that benefit me most" to fall into the equation.

(3) This seems like common sense but apparently it's not. Don't assume lone wolves are anti-social. They're probably being more social IN REAL LIFE as opposed to us geeks who are the true anti-social ones.

Devs I know you thought long and hard about this with the best intentions in mind, but it's honestly not far-fetched to think players will manipulate this situation in ways you did not intend. At the very least, I think removing all the damage proficiencies besides 1% crit chance/damage and 3% damage out when below 30% would help diffuse this debate just a bit.
