What will "League Halls" mean for players who don't want a 'Real' League?

I was just curious about the league numbers because I wanted to compare what I see in my league vs a much larger league. I was curious if your large league, had 500 members on at once, or if the numbers were closer to what I see... Like you we have players from several geographical locations, both inside and outside the US. Some of us are becoming pretty good friends outside of the game, even meeting up earlier this spring for a little fun. I understand the scaling, and I'm not overly concerned about having or not having the membership to get the bonuses... would they be nice to have? Certainly. I worry though, that I will be able to unlock say resto but not vit, and as such certain members may not be happy with my choices....

Like many, I had bad experiences in leagues and many of them, in fact all the league experiences, except for my own, were very negative... as such, I too decided I didn't want to be dictated to, or taken advantage of any longer, so a few select friends I had made in game and I decided to form our own league. It hasn't always been easy. I can remember starting out a full league run in Khan with us failing... smh. I hate to admit that here, but its true. We grew, added players as we went along, some liked what we were about, others not so much. We got better, stronger and more able to hold our own as our ranks grew, but I have never forgot my prior experiences of hating league life... I do understand the plight of those who don't want to be in a league, I was one of them for a long time, just like you.

I totally agree that there are far bigger inequities in the game that deserve so much more attention than this. Thank you for your time.

The downside of your proposal is that in the current mode, there is no advantage or disadvantage to doing all league runs (except familiarity). Your proposal would encourage and actively promote ONLY league members in the run to maximize those bonuses, completely cutting a pug member out of the loop unless it was absolutely necessary. Then what happens with some of these crappy leagues...another person logs in, league kicks the PUG, brings in the member for bigger bonuses.

Whoa, dude. You're reading way too deep into what I said.

Though it's 39 pages now if you reread this post you will see a lot of hate for this feature......but only from a very select few. The stat bonuses are tiny.....and hard to get. It is in no way a game breaker. But those select few are screaming.......SCREAMING.....like this is a major game changer. It's not. Not even close. That's what boggles my mind.

The vast majority have wanted this feature. VAST MAJORITY!

And it excludes no one. Absolutely no one. All have access to this. It's your own individual choice that would exclude you but that's on you, not the game.

Tons of feats and bonuses in content I choose not to do. Never a peep out of me because of that. I chose the path I wanted. I accepted the downfalls of my choice. Just like an adult. should.

Ok, but here's where I have a problem. You aren't excluded, in any form whatsoever, from joining a league. A FTP toon fresh off the ship can join a league. The league halls sound amazing. I can't wait.

This is no different than folks who simply "choose" not to PVP and leave those feats on the table. You are choosing not to participate in a FREE aspect of the game that will only offer a minor buff. Why complain?

There will be leagues popping up because of this that don't want any real commitment from its members. Just join one. Go into your setting and disable league chats and feat notifications. It will still be like you aren't in a league, but you can have access to the buffs.

Do you remember last laugh? Tons of feats and bonuses in that DLC. I seldom PvP. Just not my thing.

This is a horrible argument that makes no sense whatsoever. It's an MMO and you are choosing not to be a part of its most social aspect. That's 100% on you, not the Devs. Tin foil hats? Really? You are willingly leaving a buff in the table, a FREE buff, and complaining that the Devs aren't being fair. I wouldn't blame anyone who works in this game's creative department from going home and getting drunk every night after reading this nonsense.

It had feats and bonuses for those who PvPed. I don't thus I was excluded. But still no complaint from me.

I'm a tank, so I'm tank biased, for some reason. go tank. also, sorry to hear your league jaunts were so bad. I never heard that stuff over a couple leagues. some were really inactive, but no crude jokes, so far. Keep persevering. and of course, keep tanking

This so spot on true...
It could be much much worst for 'non-leaguers' if this was a full DLC or there were feats that were only obtainable while in a league for an extended period.
The more I think about it, the more I think that Solo players got off lucky. That's not to say, I like the 'league bonus concept' but they are not crushing.

In fairness, the game has been the way it is now (regarding league importance) for 3 years... you have to admit that people use to playing in the current environment might need time to adjust to the sudden 'new importance' of leagues.
