    "Cryptic Studios had teamed with Marvel and Microsoft in what seemed a powerful alliance to develop the spiritual successor to City of Heroes but due to fierce competition in the MMO market and/or rumored disagreements between Marvel and Microsoft about licensing, the game was scrapped"



    (The game was cancelled years ago, so I am not violating the advertising rules)

    Actually if I remember right that project ended up being the basis for CO.

    yep. so for those who wanted a Marvel version of DCUO that was their story.
    they are the first ones who started a Superhero MMO but it didn't pushed thru.
