Is it the Tyger, Tyger episode from Batman: The Animated Series? I could also guess that they are inspired by the intelligent animals from Earth A.D., however, those beings have animal faces and these skin do not. Are there any other animal-noids with humanesque faces that these styles might be based off of?
I assumed they offered a small selection of animal types so people could have a character origin similar to Cheetah's but had a variety of animals to choose from.
