    This case was different. Cryptic redirected all the dev team working on CO to Star Trek Online, including Jack himself, and years later Perfect World Entertainment bought the game, staying with it until Cryptic North or something got it back, but still wasn't the same team.

    Think of it as if SOE's old head was suddenly hired to another game, say FF14. It's kinda the same case.
