Will the Weekly Omnibus Missions continue after the new DLC is out, or are they limited to this DLC? I know the Omnibus itself will stick around, but I'm curious if the automatically granted missions that we turn in to Steve Trevor will continue past the end of this DLC. I've been enjoying getting the extra loot boxes each week after an easy-to-finish task. I'm sorry if this was already announced, I couldn't find it if it has. There was so much in this DLC it was easy to miss stuff.
Omnibus is it's own thing and will continue after Save the Universe cycle ends and Episode 42 begins. Omnibus is a means to entice players to randomly queue older content for extra rewards.
I would argue a way to trick us into doing but this is exactly correct. The old on duty had a better way to Q into random instances and we chose not to do it because its not conducive to game time management otherwise we’d have done it all along. Omnibus is more restrictive than the old system as well because u must random Q for a specific type of i stance where before we had more freedom to random Q by being able to Q up for every type of instance at once. Its smoke an mirrors and a lot of dev time wasted to try an trick/for e us into it. Sad really, pathetic too
There's no trick. You can still queue up for whatever you want through Custom and instead of waiting forever for the queue to pop it will pair you with people queueing through Omnibus.
Its is a trick because Q wont pop faster. If u go to onduty and Q for all raids/alerts etc, it actually pops faster because omnibus cant Q for more than 1 type of instance. Its 100% a waste of dev time to have done it and on duty was a better system because could do as omnibus does OR we could Q just what we wanted OR we could Q literally everything which is a step beyond what omnibus does. On duty had it all, omnibus is 100% smoke an mirrors. Your meant to think its faster but its not. Its factually not. We tested this. On duty nets faster Q times if used the same way.
