Actually with the Reeves' movie Affleck has no choice, he is not in it. Fatal is right, Reeves has said he is going with a younger Batman.

Affleck is only contracted to do one more appearance as the Bat, whether that will happen has a 50/50 chance.

Now I have heard that with the new management of the DC division, Walter Hamada, things have gotten friendlier with Affleck. So there is a small hope that Ben may make a return as the Bat at some point, depending on what they decide to do with the DCCU.

    Hey Everyone
So here is some news within the WB/DC Camp.
First, the new head of DC films, Walter Hamada, no longer wants to date movies too far in advance and is currently working on DC film projects that are more realistic to accomplish and possibly help turn things around within the DCEU. Now aside from Aquaman, Shazam, and Wonder Woman 2 that were already set in production, The Hollywood Reporter, revealed that he's keen on The Batman, The Joker, and The Flash movies.

Second, DC chief creative officer, Geoff Johns, will be leaving his position for a more behind the scenes approach. Johns is leaving his position to start a new company, Mad Ghost Productions, a new banner that will allow him to work on DC-related content for movies, TV, and comic books. He is currently at work penning a script for the Green Lantern Corps movie

And finally, be prepared for some DC related reveals at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con. Aside from WB promoting Aquaman, director, James Wan, hinted that a trailer for the film will premiere. In addition, Gal Gadot will also be there to promote the Wonder Woman sequel with a little surprise for guests there.

    Hey Everyone
While this is not related to DC movie wise, it is in regards to the DC streaming channel. To be more specific, SWAMP THING.

First, it was revealed that Aquaman director James Wan will not only be a producer but also co-direct the pilot episode alongside Deran Sarafian. And to be honest, I can't wait for this because I hope they go more on his powers as a woodland protector, taking on paranormal, mythological and folklore creatures.

    Hey Everyone
In a recent interview with Kevin Feige, he was asked what advice he would give to the folks at WB handling the DCEU. His response I believe is the right one and WB should re-evaluate the future of their DC movies because yes, the studio tried bringing nostalgia into the Justice League film by having Danny Elfman's musical score use his Batman 1989 and John William's Superman theme but those themes did not fit those characters. And the biggest mistake was not staying true to the characters, particularly Supes and Bats as they're portrayed in the comics and past media.

And in some possible casting news
The current status with regards to Birds of Prey or Batgirl is still up in the air at WB, however, fans took to social media and asked actress, Jane Levy if she would be interested. The actress enthusiastically responded that she would be down for such a role

Two Joker movies and no clear hint of a Superman movie...

Well at least one of them is part of the DCEU.

Oh yeah, that's the 80's alright: when men were women with fanny-packers and women were men wearing 'power suits' (only thing missing is the two foot wide shoulderpads)

They can't, do to the fact that DGC's contract is with DC Comics and not WB.

That may sound strange but the two entities are fully separate things. DC is the comics and WB is the movie and TV (possibly cartoons as well, not sure though). So DGC's contract gives them access only to the comic book material and none of the WB's, unless extra contracts and/or special permissions are done.

Now after some time, and many debating will they or not, WB have officially confirmed that actor, Joaquin Phoenix has been locked to star in the Joker standalone movie which is said to be an origin story for the clown prince of crime. The film is expected to start production in September of 2019

    Hey Everyone
In some Shazam news, unfortunately actor, Ron Cephas Jones, who was to portray the ancient wizard had to drop out of the film due to scheduling issues and was replaced by actor, Djimon Hounsou.

What sort of Cola is that? If it's not a fake one (like they have in Fallout) then expect its sales to skyrocket after release of the movie :D
