    Hey Everyone

There is a rumor that due to the success of the Wonder Woman film, WB/DC are now gearing to increase the number of DC films they will release a year to 3 instead of 2.

Besides Justice League and Aquaman that's on the way in 2018, there's The Batman and The Flash that suffered delays due to problems; plus there's Gotham City Sirens, Black Adam and Man of Steel 2 that are still in development. I'd say, WB/DC should take their time and do them right, stay consistent by making a quality movie like Wonder Woman and not rush it. What do you think?

On another note, there's another rumor that another Justice League trailer is on it's way with a possible resurrected Superman reveal

Completely agree: they should take their time and put out quality movies not rush things and put out quantity and end up with another "Suicide Squirts" or "BvSvLLvLLvWWvDD"

If they put out a trailer showing a resurrected Soupcan, that will just ruin everything: trailers are supposed to tease you about the movie, not reveal 90% of the plot and all spoilers, or, like so often happens, contain stuff that never actually makes it into the final release

    Hey Everyone,
Out promoting his upcoming film, War of the Planet of the Apes, director, Matt Reeves revealed that his take of The Batman film will try to focus on the noir showing off the World's Greatest Detective while also demonstrating what's going on inside Batman's head and heart

So, getting back to the detective work and away from the One-Punch killer who pulls the bat-solution out of his bat-arze? That would be a nice change

    Hey Everyone
While not DCEU related, it is WB/DC related. WB has annouced that they will be releasing a box set of all DC animated films that includes 30 movies, 5 animated shorts, and an exclusive collectible that will be in stores Nov 7

    Hey Everyone,
So DC has finally released the new DCEU intro that was shown in the Wonder Woman film. I love it because it hearkens back to the Justice League Unlimited intro

On another subject, there is a rumor that the Green Lantern Corps will be soon getting a director, in the name of Rupert Wyatt, who did Rise of the Planet of the Apes. So far, this is a rumor until confirmed by the studio and if it comes out to be true, this is good news

    Hey Everyone
Not DECU related but DC animated related. It seems Amazon leaked the next DC animated project while posting a listing for the upcoming Batman and Harley Quinn animated movie. And once again, WB / DC continue with yet another Batman project adapting Batman: Gotham by Gaslight

That's not Amazon's doing, if you look at the back of every release, they tell you what is coming up next (it actually helps me put them in order if get them out of order)

    Hey Everyone
It seems the Suicide Squad sequel is being reworked with the search of a new director in the name of Jaum Collet-Serra (The Shallows). The sequel is moving forward with a script by Zak Penn, with tentative plans to film next year.

Ben Affleck out as Batman? Warner Bros. eyes replacing him

With Matt Reeves replacing Ben Affleck as director of The Batman, and recently revealing he’d tossed out Affleck and Geoff Johns’ script, many fans were wondering when Affleck himself might jump ship from the role. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Pictures is mulling over that very thing, with an eye towards replacing Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman in an upcoming DC Extended Universe movie, very likely The Batman.

While Affleck will reprise the role in the upcoming Justice League, his third time at bat after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, either the studio or the actor himself (or both) are not happy with the way the DC movies are shaping up. It could also be a simple case of ageism, with the nearly 45-year-old Affleck far older than any of his fellow Justice Leaguers. Zack Snyder envisioned this iteration of the Dark Knight as an older, battle-hardened Batman who’d been beating up criminals in Gotham City for years by the time we catch up to him. Snyder has now exited the DC universe, with Joss Whedon taking over extensive reshoots on Justice League before filming his own Batgirl within the next year or two. The Batman is being eyed as the first in a potential trilogy, so if Affleck was getting cold feet about the role, it would definitely be a good idea for him to step out before the first one shoots.

However, the studio’s current line is Affleck is still all-in, with studio chief Toby Emmerich saying, “Ben is our Batman. We love him as Batman. We want to keep him in the cowl as long as we can.”

This has been said time and time again but whatever the shortcomings of BvS were, Ben Affleck as Bruce/Batman was not one of them. I would be disappointed if he left the DCEU and even more so if after playing the character 4+ times he still has not shared a single line a dialogue with the Joker. If there are any changes that the big wigs over at WB want to make lets start with Eisenberg and Leto.

Its not the issue of his performance in BvS. It might be the factor of him not directing The Batman and his script not being used anymore. Maybe Ben wants out now, who knows.
