blue lanterns will not appear in the game as powerset. that would make the real nonsence. red lanterns okay. lot of comic shown NOT EVIL red lanterns, like guy gardner, razer, etc... yes, razer was at the animated series. he is also filled by rage because atrocitus killed his loved girl. he was not evil, he just leaded by an evil red lantern. so in the game red lanterns can fit as heroes/villains. but blue lanterns? how you can imagine a villain blue lantern? there will never been a full different powerset for villains/heroes. even green/yellow lanterns. nothing is different just 1-2 animation, like ram and the color. but nothing else. they cant put blue lanterns as powerset. blue lanterns are just peaceful heroes and healers. that cant be a villain peaceful healer. thats the real nonsence. and in the dc universe, there are not much blue latnerns, just saintwalker, the elephant guy, and another one (dont know thats name, but i know they are just 3 of them). the other blue lanterns are "iconoc" heroes, like the flash, hal jordan, once sinestro also been a blue lantern. and yes, sinestro was good at that time when he was a blue lantern. you guy have to get over it, red lantern is the new powerset, we will get saintwalker as iconic, and thats all. the next 3 dlc will not drop powersets.... if you counted the method...

Unlike two previous (Quantum & Celestial), which could be used to create many characters with different storylines, current power can be used to make red lantern character & nothing else. If Rage wasn't restricted to be Red Lanterns - then another way, but so... Thus i think it will be alot less popular, than Quantum or Celestial. So in game there'll be still lack of tanks.

true. could have done a lot more with it that way too. Ther's a lot of non-lantern characters that could be replicated with a more generic HL set.

For what in general they touch any Lanterns? Isn't enough 2 playable corps?
It just damn pity - Atomic waiting to release since Beta, when it was cropped with electricity & earth. Just when they put Quantum i thought Atomic will be in this trio as well, just ordered downward to save pattern. & bump - Atrocitus SUDDENLY crawled in out of turn & took it's rightful place.
Just like you in McDonalds stand 4 hours in queue. & suddenly company of punks with quantity of 40 persons stands right before your nose! & took your rightful place! But if indigo comes in WoL 2, so maybe Indigo the Atom should be there as well. But first introduced in game in his normal form. & best way to introduce the Atom - in DLC with Atomic powerset, right?

Super Strength is easily imitated by Earth + Brawling. The real issue is invulnerability. Bane and Wonder Woman are the only ones with their defense power. Superman is out of luck, unless he uses fortress tech. But, we aren't copies, we're inspired, nothing more. We don't have Superman's invulnerability and never will either way. So our health and defense points will have to do. We also get to wear much more armour than those three. As for bane, he can be imited almost perfectly aside from cotume. So can Wonder Woman. You can't use sword and shield at same time, but you can switch between, which will only get quicker with amenities.

Blue and Indigo could be used as healers for good/evil. As long as the Indigos don't get to use all lights like the real corps does.
Indigo converts criminals, so while Blue would be messed up as villains, they could have a counter-healer in Indigo.

Then why we should be EXACT Red Lanterns, but not inspired by like Fire or Rage without ring represented as Brutal/Physical?

Alot of this arguing could easily be solved by adding a "Nuetral" faction. Wouldn't that be messy.

Fire is also already in and already used by many rage-like characters.

And we are not exactly red lanterns, we are weaker deputized versions of the lanterns. Same with Hard Light.

I do think we should get the choice to shut off our ring look, but I guess that's the DC company protecting their rights or something.

Releasing Red Lanterns for both factions seems to be a marketing decision as many in the hero population would rather be Red Lanterns than Blue Lanterns.

That being done, including Blue Lantern content in this DLC made less sense and allowed them to push them back to a second DLC.

That said, the other “War of Light” DLCs should be full of Lanterns being that they ought to be introducing corps besides the Blues, from the Star Sapphires, Indigo Tribe, Black Lanterns and the White Lanterns plus the Orange Lanterns in non-seasonal content.

they cant put orange lantern as powerset, because there is just one orange lantern. okay, there were some, like hal in the animated series, but that was not an actual lantern corp, just blinden by greed but the others helped him to get back. larfreeze is the only orange lantern and it will be the only.

Yeah personally i preferred to Powers, that can't be emulated with others goes first!

Physical - can be emulated by Earth
Red Lantern - can be emulated by Fire
Darkness - can be emulated by Celestial (Cursed)
Cosmic - can be emulated by Quantum
Wind - can be emulated by Ice (Storms)
Atomic - CAN'T be emulated
Water - CAN'T be emulated

So I preferred if they put Atomic & Water first & only then start to deepen!!!

The problem with that is what kind of storylines do you develop with those powers? Water, sure, you can have Atlanteans, but not many people like them. Atomic, well, that would be pretty limiting. The good thing about the lantern powersets is that whole story arcs come with them that can be massive in scale, not to mention popular with the consumers(players).

Back on topic, I left DCUO for now but I'm coming back to the game and making a Red Lantern.....................Hero and just because, I'm making her like RL SG. Just need Heat Vision to be a good power now

I am well aware of that Larfleeze is the only Orange Lantern and that the Orange Lantern “Corps” consist of those he’s killed as corrupted energy constructs.

I was speaking more of introducing him in DCUO-proper as part of the PvE content, as opposed to him just being part of the Winter Seasonal.

Going by DCU logic, I would only introduce the Orange, Black and White Lanterns as NPCs.

I think from what I've seen so far it looks good to me and I can't wait to have a red lantern!!!

in that way, you are right. i think in the dlc9 one or two of them will appear. but not sure. i can imagine that black lantern(s) will be the enemy at the 8 man operation.
