At first I wasn't going to start one, but, after coming across a video in my YouTube subscriptions, I think that it would be wise to start one. Okay. I'm not gonna lie about it. Going with the impact of the leaked clip he saw, I think the reaction spoke volumes. I'm also not going to lie that we as fans of the show, or any show for that matter, become that emotionally invested. We follow the characters, story arcs, changes from one source to the other (i.e. - comic / book to film) and make various judgments on it. Season 6 finale, although however we might have liked it or hated it, was something to set us up to keep watching and talk about it like a "Who - Dunnit" mystery novel. With the official season 7 clip that AMC put out, it gave us a brief glimpse as to what to expect. However, and again going with the review I shared, I don't think any of us as fans are going to be emotionally or psychologically prepared for it. Like I said, when season 6 ended, it was on a bit of a cliffhanger that many fans disagreed with as to the way how it was filmed. However, looking back at it now, from the perspective of the writers, cast and crew, etc, I can kinda see the overall "why" they took the route that the did. For starters, it gave us fans something to discuss during the break. It then gave the writers and producers time to figure out who was going to be killed off, how to approach it from a filming aspect, but more importantly, how the viewer would handle the finished product. Like I said, we as fans have become emotionally invested in both the comic, the show itself, and it's characters. Part of me wants to know who got killed off. Part of me has kinda figured it out and even going with the general consensus of the theorists. .....but part of me isn't prepared as to how it's going to be presented let alone the impact it will have..... I intend to watch the premier with great interest. But, after the episode and even Talking Dead to follow, I think that many of us are going to be stunned to a point where we won't know what to say.
