The dovetails, I feel I am stuck in middle of my rotation. I know I can and I will get used to it, but it heavily interrupts the flow of the fight, and that I don't think will change. Hand blaster is the only weapon that kinda goes with the flow, but using any other weapon feels very awkward. Felt the same way in test server (for some reason I thought it would get better when it's finished), so I doubt this will go away when weapon mastery hits live. The balance check on powers, I can support, and for the most part feels right, except some unnecessary (that's what I think) changes in animation. But again, I don't mind an added "cool down" if thats necessary for a better gameplay, but it just isn't as smooth as it should be. Think of the channeling powers for example, they have always felt very natural even if you don't clip the animation. If there needs to be a "cooldown" or "dovetail" or whatever you want to call it, why not give us a nice effect or animation associated with it just so it feels better?
Yeahh... the dovetail animation looks awkward I doubt it will happen, but I hope they improve it (crosses fingers). But at least the twitch fest has been drastically decreased
Nothing wrong with fast and twitchy combat. The combo speed overall just feels much more sluggish because the streamlining and the animation adjustments.
I don't think it's something very hard to implement, yet if it's done the game play will improve by a lot.
