Might have already been suggested but it would be pretty helpful if the boxes in the vault be considered for the treasure chest feat. Gives another reason for people to get vault tickets, go legendary, and in general actually bother to go into the vault. It doesn't have to even be all the boxes, just the ones that drop you a style / mark when you break it.
Decent idea.. but it would be too much. I'm pretty sure there are at least 20 boxes in every run and the feat only goes up to 1000. Honestly I would just be happy with either more than one treasure chest in one alert/raid, or at least more of them in top tier content again. It's pretty sad that for the most part they all stopped at T4.
Plenty of content to run to get all 1k boxes... honestly its one of the easiest feats the game has, no need to make it easier
If u want treasure chests just go to t.o. morrows lab (villains only i think). Theres always a trrasure chest in the.beginning behind one of the book shelves. Plus you get tp farm robot joker head or batman(batman head is much much easier to get
Assuming that there are 20 boxes in the vault, 1000 / 20 = 50. 50 vault runs to finish the feat using just vault runs. That's a little under 2 months for legendary people. Premium and Free to Play only get access to the vault every 3 days (correct me if I'm wrong). That's about 150 days if they make sure they go when they can. Personally I don't believe that implementing this would be too much... as it would still be a feat that takes quite a while to obtain. I agree with you that treasure chests should make a reappearance in higher level content, I'd be ok if the devs decided on that. I agree with you, it is an easy feat to get. However, the amount of time that you have to put into getting it though is rather excessive. After about 3 years playing this game, I've only managed to get 425 overall.
It's gotten a lot better in the last year or so simply because of group credit on a lot of feats. Originally only the person who smashed the treasure chest got credit towards the feat, now anyone in the group does. This meant originally that only the front line DPS or tank really had a chance of getting the chest originally in group content and most challenges didn't have a treasure chest for some reason.
I would settle for them adding new stuff in the vault i don't remember the last time i actually ran it. I just know there hasn't been a point in at least a year. Not since my sharpshooter legs dropped
All vault drops are fodder. The money payout is pathetic, the rares are pathetic. Really 1 mark of triumph isn't worth it anymore, even if you're lucky enough to get a whopping 5 marks Oooo! The best thing I've ever gotten is a level 70 account bound ring, but even that is no good anymore. I do agree that there needs to be some improvement here. I don't think this part of the game has ever been looked at to be updated. The marks and money needs to be scaled with the tier. Also items should be tradeable for those who can't get what they need. I actually wouldn't mind it if enemies where hidden in boxes. As a side note. I think the Joker's Funhouse would make an excellent high tier duo run with Joker and Harley as the boss.
