I am researching the Pros and Cons to participating with Steam. My main question is will I be able to own any games purchased through Steam stores? Any other info about Steam's Modus Operandi would be appreciated. Thank you
Pros. Steam sales, achievements, dedicated chat, optional dedicated OS, in-home streaming (which is awesome), marketplace trading, greenlight/alpha/beta access, easy broadcast, cloud sync, steam sales, steam sales and steam sales. Cons. Steams sales cuz you'll find yourself spending so much =D oh and some backward compatibility issues with old games and if you're on W10. really? "modus operandi"? The only "modus operandi" I see is the occasional inhumane sales. They'll con you with buying really cheap games and you'll end up hoarding so much that you'd have untouched games. idk really where people get the negative stuffs about Steam yet you'd see people use Google's playstore, PS store, EA's origins, Window's marketplace and other digital store. I'm just guessing it's just people's lil paranoia.
