US Server Restart - April 27, 2016

    That's true Jafin, but that is by no means an impediment to proper deployment of digital content; what it is an impediment to is the release of monthly content, which in turn is an impediment to revenue generation through replay badge sales as committed max CR players try to keep up.

    A 3 month release schedule, with a PSN test server, would work just fine... in house alpha would detect/fix glaring errors, 2 or 3 rounds of test server updates to suss out the problems that require full pop load to find, and then publish... lots of other dev houses do it, as do companies with similar restrictions outside the gaming world.

    Problem with the 3 month cycle is that it doesn't make as much money.

    what about the players who already have those items... how do they get compensated? it's fully unfair and I'm seriously considering pulling my membership...
    If you go to a bar, order a pint of lager and they give you a quarter pint in a pint glass, you'd complain and demand your money back. What daybreak are doing is essentially the same... we're paying for a game and only getting a quarter of what we spend our hard earned cash on which is completely unfair xx

    What exactly is this quarter you're getting? You equate a few days gaming at BEST lost over the past three weeks as having three quarters of the game taken away?

    A few days? Have you not been around over the past month or so?... A few days were lost in one weekend alone when they released Ep 23, and then of course again when they released it... again. To say nothing of the days since...

    I think the overall point here Jafin is very, very simple - you pay for a service, you reasonably expect to get what you paid for. Period.

    People like this guy.. I am better than you because I belong to group (A) and you belong to group (B).. It's old already. You are human just like everyone else and are no better than anyone else. Stop trying to take credit for things you have no control over. Stop trying to build your self-esteem off of stereotypes and group belonging. It's a false and weak esteem builder..

    You have a test server.... do you guys actually test things or do people just get on to figure out how to beat the new stuff...

    This is getting ridiculous that as of late more bugs, more disconnects all comings more frequently with this monthly content. Take it back to every 3 months. Fix whatever is actually wrong with things and make it enjoyable again. All this is frustrating and a waste of my money/time. I pay a yearly sub and can't enjoy downtime after work..... which seems to be weekly... I don't expect things to not ever break but GG DC! This is getting to be unacceptable.

    Am I the only player that is annoyed that this player appreciation is ONLY being offered to people that participate in "all 8-player On Duty content (throughout the game), and in modern 4-player content (in Episodes 16, 19, and 22)"? So if you play Solo or only like Duos you're on the very short end of the appreciation stick!!!

    Enjoy purchasing all them there RPBs... since they are not going to be free.

    Two paid accounts, one for myself, one for my daughter, and feeling -ZERO- appreciation for all the CRAP we've had to deal with since 23 came out. Not to mention the cannot find MSVCP110.DLL error just trying to install the program on my daughter's PC... Still NOT fixed... So as for appreciation....     actually it's been constant here and the second i get some free time to actually sit and play dc, it's always got problems wether its downtime or extreme lag (even though I have a brilliant high speed connection)
    It's getting to the point that I am sat literally waiting for the **** up... my partner gets it too, 3pm gmt and it's a good hour of horrific lag. Between college, working and taking care of my disabled step daughter, I am unable to sit on my **** all day glued to my pc, so when I get a rare few hours, I'd like to be able to sit and play the game that I bloody pay for, not sit refreshing this page waiting to see if I can use what I pay for...
    If you bought something online and the item was faulty, you'd raise a dispute with paypal etc and get a refund/replacement... so why are paying customers not getting refunded??? hmm???

    Not sure how you think it works but they have multiple shifts that work there because they have the US servers and EU severs that has staff that's on. So it's not like they close the doors at 5pm and hope for the best.

    to hell with drops we want actual compensation the game gets worse and we pay for it some have been paying since the original release. fix your game DCUO your losing paying customers and each screw up is players leaving eventually you wont have anyone left to play. This game is by far one of the worst mmos i have ever played in terms of customer service is terrible and gets worse every new dlc

    The EU crew is probably in Europe, and it's probably made up of just enough people to keep the servers online and release updates/hotfixes. This isn't a typical MMO where multiple, large teams are at work and change shifts to keep things up and running 24/7. Most, if not all, of the group seems to get the weekends and evenings off unless something unforeseen happens to call some people back into the office.
