One year subscription 119.99 then use those loyalty points to purchase.
Since Replays amount to 500 monthly and 500 monthly loyalty points both equate to 10 dollars so I pay 10 dollars monthly subscription for a yearly sub I pretty much should get it that way instead.

Notice how close my now and to my future are the same amounts. Been playing since Nov 2011. so in 4 years I spent 197 and in the next 4 years plan to spend another 196.

With sales could be lower yet I doubt I ever get that lucky with how the game server not allowing those to log in or the legendary not allowing purchase of DLC for price cut or that I really need any of that.


WHAT's in your wallet.. ahem I mean what has been in your expenditures for this game so far and gonna be?

I really don't want to add up the money I have spent in this game. Let's just say the amount is quite surprising, for me to spend on one game.

I just think of the time and the years that the game has given me to enjoy in and mostly relax.

About a year ago, I scrolled threw the past 2 years of purchases via my account page on the game website.

The total was over $400. There was more than a year prior that I couldn't access, cause the purchase history only records two years worth. Then there's been the time since.

I've likely spent more this past year than before (working as intended) and bought most everything on the market the first year.

So, I'll double the amount I was able to tally and say I'm around $800ish (though I suspect it's more).



But, due to the direction (directions?) the game has gone, I don't play more than once or twice a week. Other than my sub, I don't see myself spending much more.

Bought every DLC up to AFI. Bought all base amenities. Bought 7 armories. Bought 3 month membership for now 18 months. Bought 4 one month memberships. Bought 20 Booster bundles, two of the $20 ones where a you make got a regular aura. Bought a variety of styles. 2-3K in RB for feats. $10 every three months in TRK. Hmmm...I know there is more but I have lost interest in adding it all up.

Oh yeah...bought some of the various auras as well. Do not remember which ones ATM though.

Lol, glad that I'm not the only one. Just before I took a 6mo break from the game I made the mistake of tallying it all up and I just about barfed. Embarrassingly It was in the 4 digit area....ugh here comes the nauseusness again.

With years of monthly memberships, marketplace stuff, and the illusive replay badge I'm well into 4 digits... And I'd do it all over again.

DCUO just reached that 200 dollar mark which makes this a COllectors edition game.

MAYBE THATS WHAT THEY NEED COLLECTORS EDITION DCUO FOR PS4. gonna post it.

I've always had the month to month membership since march 2012, since then i've both about 20 booster bundles pre price cut, and another 30 after cut, 12 armories, all the base amenities, 3 weapon styles, 1 back style, at least 200 R&D scanners, 300 total recovery kits, 15000 replay badges (it takes me about 2000 to get all my skills on a new toon, and I have 9), and once I bought a PSN DCOU one month membership because I wanted to try it on console. Besides replay badges I don't really plan on getting anything I won't already get for being a member or the usualls like booster bundles.

Hmmm, I don't even want to try and tally it all up. Membership alone has been at least $400.

I gotta be close to $1K or more. Welp, the money is gonna get spent one way or the other.

i have probably spent over 1k € over 4 years but i dont regret it because i had alot of fun and still have somehow ...

As to the OP, last time I added up my spending, between a heck of a ton of replay badges, all the dlc, some armories, teleporter a few booster bundles and recently some pretty cool cosmetic stuff like the bombshell posters or batcave base items, I've spent about 600 in the past 4 years. That's 120 a year which I justify thinking i've also spent about 2000 hours total playing this game or about 500 hours a year.

So I paid the equivalent of 2 AAA games but got 5-10x more playtime than I would since most games are 20-50hrs long.

As for the future, well, I'll continue to buy every dlc, but I have almost eliminated my biggest expense. I spending on replay badges because I think they're too expensive. Practically all the money I spent on replays was spent when they were on sale. I just can't bring myself to buy them at regular prices. And since DBG seems to think it's a good idea to not have sales on replay badges, I guess I'll have to cut down my dcuo spending even more.

I have spent way to much was thinking about it last night.
Feel like that guy sueing Bethesda cause a game consumed his life.

January will be my two year anniversary on the forums. This past October was my three year anniversary in game. I'm sitting at $400 dollars spent so far. Most of that on subscription, plus episodes I have bought. Also bought some armories. Other than that they don't offer much to spend on.

I am pretty sure there are others that i missed like my times paying for pc membership just to be on the test server, replays are probably higher than I think.

Spent about 2k on this game, way too much. But man the first 2 years of this game were the best content wise.

I could have gone on a genuine vacation...twice...with the amount of money i've spent here (up to yesterday's TRK sale). I don't regret one single penny of it. I've gotten more enjoyment out of this one game than almost all of the games i've ever played combined. This game beat Tetris for most played game in consecutive years. The last game that held my attention nearly as long was the Gears of War series on the X-Box...and once I discovered that this game existed and had just gone Free-To-Play...X-box became a Dust box, and I haven't bought another game since (in fact this is the only game I own and play on my PS4).

Not to mention the 3 playstation 3s I have bought so I am close to a grand I guess as well.

Then there is gonna be the PS4.

And if I get my hands a collector's editom PS3 version.. rather it be a PS4 version.

I use every fiber of my being to not calculate how much I have spent on this game. . I've been playing since 2011, I really dislike the number I'd come up with.
