That is the essential problem though. More microtransactions that really don't mean a lot of spend, but they are making them less and less 'optional'...which yeah, is Pay To Win. In the end, it will be our community that will start making it 'mandatory', which it shouldn't be. They really need to add some way in game to earn these. The broker is an ok option, but likely won't be viable for years as people keep WAY over pricing the items (looked last night...cheapest blast adapter was like 70 million).
The legs and head mod are the most obvious benefits. Because of the cooldowns, I'll wait for ObsidianChill's testing to see if the hands and neck are worth it.
I looked over them earlier, and I won't be using most of them. I'm guessing the free ones are most likely account bound. If not, I'll throw 'em up on the broker.
I was planning on doing that with mine, but they are account bound... I laughed out loud at the prices on these in the market place. I can't believe they are almost $5 a stack. I guess it's a "cheap" way to make in game cash, but I see no other use for them. I refuse to buy them, I'm not going to support this kind of ludicrous monetization practice. I don't mind paying for something permanent, but paying $1 per mod just to throw it away in a few months is insane.
I've got the back and head mods on the OP gear. I usually keep the OP gear going until I get the newest purple. The Tumbling Master one looks attractive but otherwise not interested.
This kind of cash grab is downright predatory the devs should be ashamed of themselves. I use the free ones they gave me just to get them out of my inventory but I will never spend a nickel on these things. I don't mind spending money on this game just not for garbage like this.
By the way, the back mod resets supercharge shield CD's. Back to back Mass Density's baaaabbbbyyy!!!!!
