Trolling for Trinkets

I found this great five hour video on Youtube by SpokenFor HD that covers everything there is about trolling. Yes five hours. Fortunately, there is an index that lets you jump to each section in the video. There's a great section on trinkets, but it doesn't mention the Mandrake Seed Pod spring event trinket or the Spooky Jack Halloween trinket. Now the Mandrake Seed Pod is worthless. It increases your Vitalization by 164 for 10 seconds, but it shares a cooldown with the standard trinket that drops in instances or you buy in a vendor. Currently the 173 trinket i have increases my Vitalization by 819 for 12 seconds. By shared cooldown i mean if you activate one of them both go on cooldown.

I tested the Spooky Jack Halloween trinket on the PC Test Server and it does not share a cooldown with the standard trinket. It provides 164 vitalization for 20 seconds. But I did not have a Chanter's Sunken Rune Summer trinket to test. Does anyone know if the Spooky Jack trinket shares a cooldown with the Chanter's Sunken Rune summer trinket? I don't want to spend 50 Spooky Bytes to find out the trinket is worthless. The Chanter's Sunken Rune provides 246 vitalization for 20 seconds so if they share a cooldown its better.

It would be nice to be able to rotate the 3 trinkets that way I would have a vit boost for 52 seconds of every minute.

    Thanks

Yes they share the same cooldown.

Isn't that an outdated way of trolling? Your vit no longer determines your power back. Wouldn't it be better to use the central city trinket for the power to the group and the self shield? My troll is spec'd hybrid, maxed might and power and the rest into vit. Pretty sure vit would only increase POT. That 164 vit won't really raise your pot that much, is why I asked if it's worth it.

Sorry it took my so long to respond,

First Vitalization determines how much power the troller provides to the group. The not only affects your PoT but also your instant power heal (aka Recharge for Hardlight, Reload for Munitions) and the power received when the troller uses his group shield. Vitalization is just as important as the Power spec for a troller. I have 2 troller armories. One has 150 sp in Might & Power and the rest in Vitalization (I have 302 sp so around 100 in Vit). The other armory has Vit maxed out and the rest (around 70) in Might & Power. I more often use my armory with Vit maxed out. The Central City trinket gives power only to the troller not the group but it's nice when your trolling and your power is low. I usually keep it activated and hit it when I'm around 50% power. I also use the Exhilarating Dive Bomb mod on my Feet. I'm flight and it's easy to fly down quickly when I need a power boost to restore 6% of my total power. I very seldom have to use a Soder to restore my power and I constantly spam recharge.

Btw this original post was about the Halloween Jack trinkets. I tested the Creepy Jack healer trinket. It was worth buying whether or not it shared a cooldown with the summer trinket since it has 50 more restoration than the summer trinket. Testing proved Taco Loco to be right and they share a cooldown. Though I find it interesting that the Boos and the Summer might trinket do not share a cooldown and you can use both for a nice might boost when DPSing. :)

chanter is giving you power you can use for additional dumps...
i guess it is superior, but currently broken... fix is on the way.

Hmm I tested the Chanter and It does provide a nice Vit boost but seems to be broken in providing random power back to the user. I just tested it several times and never received a power heal from the pet. Still think it's useful right now, but hopefully will be much better after the fix.
