I'm new to trolling. What are some good Art + SP + Augment setups for troll? So far I have: - Tetra, Cog, Strat + Max health, rest in Vit + Dom Augs -BOP Commlink, Amulet, Claw/Parasite/Rings of Azar + Max Vit, rest in Health + Vit Augs Let me know what else is good !
And which allies are you using? For support I've been using Cyborg + BWL. I leveled DMB and was expecting better lol. LMK
For buff troll, The Claw is mandatory. For general purposes, the amulet of rao, is also mandatory. The standard artifact setup for a buff troll would be: Claw, amulet of rao & tetra OR cog depending on the predominant DPS type of the group. If you were to focus on power instead of buffs you would use: Power Harness, Amulet of Rao & then either, scrap of soul cloak (for more group shield spam), tetra/cog (again depending on the group) or even EoG is viable if running in a green spam group. DMB is probably the best troll ally. His combat ability creates all 3 debuffs, which stack with the standard controller debuffs AND amulet of rao AND Batman Who Laughs defense debuff. DMB 1st passive is great in Prec-heavy groups too. BWL defense debuff is good, but requires a finisher and the right situation in terms of bosses with additional ads. Nubia is also a decent passive for the might buff.
For me, I run rao, claw, and parasite. That’s to give buffs to most/all the stats and a nice debuff to all enemies. That’s for buff trolling, though. My Allie’s are basic as I use oracle and Superman as passives. No more repairing gear and no more channeling interruptions (munitions). I spec hybrid, power Crits, max out vit, rest into might/power. Troll gear. Vit augs. It works for me and could work for you. There’s no single best way to spec as a troll anymore so choose something and have fun with it.
I didn't see anyone else mention it but don't mix your augments. You want to use all Vit in a group battery spec. You can use all Dom augments for the extra health in a group buff build or stick with all Vit if power out is an issue.
