MOORE, Okla. — "A giant tornado, a mile wide or more, killed at least 51 people as it tore across parts of Oklahoma City and its suburbs Monday afternoon, flattening homes, flinging cars through the air and crushing at least two schools packed with children" http://www.cnn.com/2013/05/20/us/oklahoma-tornado-developments/index.html Not sure if anyone else posted this up... Heart goes out to all the families.
I have family that live close to the area. Fortunately, they are ok and their house was spared except for some roof damage and debris. Brings back bad memories of the May 3rd, 1999 tornado for me....
Incredible loss to all of the families of those affected by this. The search and rescue efforts are still very hazardous and carry with them an incredible emotional toll. Please keep the searchers, the rescuers, the hurt and the lost in your thoughts and prayers.
