TOM-Bot in marketplace??

There was no time frame to claim it, only a time frame to be eligible. I can still claim it on new characters I create today.

I crack up every time I hear it. Can we get Tom-Bot as a future base item?

It was not a marketplace purchase. It was only able to be claimed through the MP's claim tab. I haven't checked in a while, but we should be able to claim him as long as we own him. Even on new characters. Same with Skeets. Unfortunately, the Brainiac one was through the journal, so it was a one time thing.

Don't worry, we are getting another one this year, likely next month

once claimed, you are unable to reclaim it if you delete the trinket. and the first one was Servo, not skeets.

That's not how it was originally. You could reclaim them after deleting them. Just like any trinket that you bought.

And I know it was Servo, but I will always call him Skeets.

It seems the info in the link was just a bit misleading - it implies the TOM-Bot is available to purchase.

I've been playing the game over 4 years, and have been legendary over 3 of them. I just happened to be un-subbed when TOM-Bot was handed out, and i regretted not getting it. By far my favourite trinket pet in the game. I have the other two, but they don't do much for me.
