TOM-Bot in marketplace??

According to the DCUO Wiki - dunno if it's 'official' or not - the TOM-Bot is available for purchase in the marketplace.

Yet when I went to buy it, I could not find it anywhere.

Is it actually available? If so, where it it hiding? Thanks.

I'm fairly sure that TOM-Bot was only available for the second year anniversary.

Some items are only available in the marketplace for a limited run. It sucks, but that's the way it works.

OKAY I see where you are a bit confused. I checked out your link and it does mention the on line store in the description. HOWEVER that was simply the method they used to allow players to get their one FREE Tom Bot when it was given away to celebrate the anniversary.

You could never go there and buy one but you could log on to the game, access the on line store, go to the redemption tab and click to obtain your one free copy of Tom. Now.. you could do this for EVERY single Alt you owned so depending a player could wind up with 1 Tom Bot at ten Tom Bots (1 on ever single Alt he or she owned).

he was never for sale it was just the way you used to get the free one.

Why would you want to hear that annoying voice everywhere you go and spawn it. In fact I hate when people spawn the Tom-Bot, because I hate the annoying voice.

Remember it was only available for player who were or went legendary during a certain timeframe i forgot for what though. Thats why non-memebers dont have them

Or, like me, missed the timeframe to claim the bot... silly me...

Who knows maybe this year we'll have to buy the holiday trinket instead of it being something they give to legendary players.

Why would somone ever pay for something like that?
It's useless. I have like 2 or 3 of those bots as anniversary gift and well... it sucks.

Speaking seriously from a parent's view, for the love of the game all of you need to go buy as many tom-bots possible and give them to your kids.

there is no DCUO without the tom-bot. i play to hear the tom-bot and i don't even have a tom-bot. DCUO is just another comic book MMO time-money sink without the bom-tot what is life without tot-bom idk anymore
