There are feats that players need, investigations that players need, and briefings that players need. While you can take out the adds in seconds, it takes people at tier considerably longer to do so. You're saving yourselves a few minutes by costing others potentially hours. Think about that for a bit.
I agree uh you, but to play devils advocate a little: It works both ways. If I need a feat in a pug duo I simply ask for it. 4/5 people are more that willing to oblige, coincidentally. It is an mmo after all. Communication is the foundation.
This came to my attention while running Sub-Construct. I did mention that it was going to be difficult to go back for the investigations and briefings with all the enemies left behind. There was a fairly high level healer who stayed back to help me and another low player afterward, but it still took an extra 20-25 minutes. Without the healer, I'm pretty sure I would have been there for a couple hours. If I hadn't been a tank, there's no way I could have survived at all.
I think it's probably less of a headache to look for a Team on LFG or join a League. That way you get what you want. I run random alerts when no League members online and stuff. But I know what I'm in for so no stress lol.
After a certain timeframe. Kill something, tab back in 8 minutes later, get more Nth metal. Doesn't matter how many adds you kill. Also, I have two 100 artifacts and an 80+, I'm not really lacking Nth metal. Zoom zoom!
