To the people who have 180+ SP...

In Jan. 2017 it will be 6 years. I did my grinding in the begining. When they started giving away skill points I lost interest. You can ask anyone I play with. I never ask for feats. If I get them it's because someone in the group tricked me into it. I don't have time to grind like I did in years past. To be honest, lately my skill points have come from my alts. Lol. I've been running my alts more thannmy main cause, we'll he's 175 and done til new content.

You should be able to make it to the 180sp mark without a league. Our league used to do feats nightly, but that will burn everyone out. Then the ugliness starts. Get what you can and have fun. Drink a buff cola and move on :)

Its taken me approx 3.5 years of steady play to get 272 on my main.....but I'm a skill point whor3, I'll do anything for a SP lolz

I have hunted SP on a newly created toon, just to prove how easy it is, I was carried by league and friends from lvl 30-CR 156 (At the time that was the highest), and I got about 120 SP +/- 10. And that was without trying, just getting feats that you can get from face rolling duos, solos, alerts, and raids. Getting 150 SP is not hard it just takes a little work, literally a little work and a few weeks. Its not hard.

I'm at 198. About 150 of that came from normal play - the rest from actively feat hunting. My leaguemates have zero interest in grinding, so I do most of it on my own. (I got off the ship around the time Battle for Earth came out, and I'm still working on the 250 duos feat - thank God there are walkins for those!)

There's a real point of deminishing returns when going solo. The easiest to start with are the ones under the general, solo, duo, alerts, and raids tabs in the feat menu. Seasonals are grindy when playing catch up, but actually pretty fun once that's done. (Can't wait to hear 'I am not an emo pilgram!' again soon!!) There are many quick and easy feats in the episodes.

The rest is just doing what everyone said - a bit every day. When waiting for a group to form or a queue to pop, go kill some reapers. When doing the daily at stryker's island to get the inside mission 10 times, kill a few Grodd projections each day. Also, even if you play mostly old content, you'll rack up the marks for the style in the vendors.

And don't let loot locks hold you back. If you are focused on a feat, like every little bot counts, you can run return to the nexus multiple times in one day. You don't have to reset it if you're just after the bots.

I'll run for feats with you.I have 156 now and have been playing since beginning of the year.I have come to find out how hard it is now depending on others to get feats in 4-8 player instances. I would be happy if you did start a group to run feats.
  5. DarthJafo Committed Player

I've only got 156. I feel that's suffiecient enough to only worry about getting them as I go. Some grinds are just not worth the effort.
  6. Little MD Well-Known Player

Finding a league or a group of friends that are willing to help you queue into instances is really helpful. I'll admit that this is very difficult to do since many may already have the feat, and it's hard to convince him or her to run that feat again if it's time consuming or require group effort.

I am hoping that once statrevamp hits, many players that NEED the feat will make groups for feat runs, and make the attempt on their own instead of relying on their leaguemates that already have the feat.

Key thing is a cooperative group that will run you through it all. Directly and indirectly. Indirectly because some feats are not that obvious to know about. "Do your Dailies and what not, but don't forget those Giant Purple Gorillas".

I've been a part of this game since Feb 2011 and I'm at 197 sp. Honestly, I should be in the 250+ SP club, but I've been inactive in the game for over 7 months. My SP was built on the rate of every DLC release given how I've been in this game since the near beginning, so you can say it took me 5 years. Yet, you have guys that are new who claim they've earned that SP in a matter of weeks. They must have a lot of time on their hands, smh. The most honest answer to give you is the grind for SP varies among each player and that's all going to depend on how consistent you are in the grind for them.

It depends on the player quite honestly some people don't care about sp so have gradually gotten over 180 just from everyday playing and then there are hard cores who grind them like no tomorrow everyday and get them quicker than others all depends on the player

OK I have to say this and I don't care if people get prissy about it. Skill point help a player be better so if you are a great gamer it will make you better but if you are horrible and can't play 200 plus isn't going to help and as in 150 that is plenty to help you be a good player and will probably be plenty in the new revamp. But the more you have it will be that extra gravy for you I have near 250. I don't need that many but I will push to get more and yes I am a casual player. And I will take advantage of any kind of advantage that I can get . But if you want a fair number to hold your own and not be carried by others you will need at least 120 maybe this will change with the revamp but the devs have no intention for the game to be you have to have every sp f4om every tier in order to be good. But remember get what you can and have fun and not at the expense of others

As everyone said it all depends how much time you put into it. The best thing you can do is be aware and look at the feats. So many times people run through content not get any feats and it is not only until later they see how many feats they have missed. I was in a league that complained that I was remaining at a low CR to long and should be higher because it did not take them that long to level up. It was not until they saw I was doing feats rather than increasing my CR at the time. So go at your own pace it is not a race if it doing a little on different feats a day then do it. I set goals for myself to accomplish and once I achieve them set new one. One year later I am at 265 SP and 175 CR, those same people who said I was taking to long now are asking me to help them increase there skill points. As long as you are doing it you are making progress. Every little bit helps.

I am like that. I don't like doing feats anymore. Never ask people or league mates for feats. Most of my league is over 200sp so it's not that big of a deal. I just don't have as much time to run content and get feats.

On a side note I have been running my alts more than my main lately. I actually got 2 SP for my main just working on my alts. I missed some episodes from breaks I have taken to play other games.

I get turned off of feats from the uglyness it brings out in people. Same goes for SM. I use this game as a way to relieve stress and wind down. You know HAVE FUN! Feats get stressful.

Sometimes they do sometimes they do and if you are a great gamer you don't have to have every skill point in the game
  15. Roocck Committed Player

Don't worry that'll change when update 64 releases, if you don't have 250+ sp you won't be invited to do anything NOT EVEN DUOS... This game is not about having fun anymore it's about who has more sp and who can do the most damage.
