Tired of just weekend boost

Ok i dont know about the rest of you but i hate nust the weekend mark boost that have been going on. Why not a week long boost? Personally i have been playing for yearssince 2011 but now my job has me traveling on the weekends . So i cant play for that boost. Why limit it to just the weekend. I know there are plenty of players that cant get on during the weeking becuase of family obligations or travel or work. I mean its cool the devs are giving extra marks but why not a full week.

This thread here is the definition of taking a mile when someone gives you an inch. Just be happy they're even doing bonus mark weekends, and as frequently as they have been.

Just a heads up ... The bonus runs Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday... Almost a week and not just the weekend.

Yeah and we are getting a new DLC on June 1st, how nice of them to give us bonus marks to work towards any missing gear/collections/feats before it comes out.

So you h8 this game becouse you have to work at weekend ? I have to say its original argument

No matter how old the dlc is it is benefiting those that work on alts or maybe people that are new to the game in the last month or two
So good for them for doing it.
Or they know the way lfg works and on the release day of new content and you are not within one or two cr of max cr it is harder to be picked up.

As far as being hard to get picked up in groups, hardly. Makes friends it is a MMO after all. Or join a league even. Hell Im in a 3 person league lol and nvr had much problem getting into a group 'if' I LFG'd for 1.

I guess lol, hell as light has pointed out numerous times in numerous threads by month 4 or so you would of been 190 with 0 replays used, so all this time what were ppl doing with coins that they'd do differently this weekend?

Maybe they took a break/went on vacation.

I know I did (and also neglected the AFIII stuff when the events/seasonals were out) and so this is nice to catch up on the regular set of gear that I haven't finished.

Ok so you are taking that i hate the game. No far from it even though i feel the game is in its decline from challenging and quality of story i do still enjoy it. And so you u derstand thursday would be the only day i could participate in bonus marks i travel on fridays spend time with family no video games for now becuase i am on average 400 miles from home during the week and wont return until lat sunday. Then you have single parents not me but single parents that would only have thier children on a weekend and could not or i should say should not play their video games and do something with thier kids or family on the rare or little time they might have. So again a full week would give those that have family or work obligations a chance to be apart of things

W8 what about those who got free only on christmass ? I say lets make whole year / life bonus .
To be honest 50 % bonus is like what 20-30 extra marks ? Is that realy big deal for you ?
If it is i would like to c bonus like some more extra RB instead of marks bonus but its not hard to guess why its not going to happend .

Again not what i was getting at. But a once a year thing for a day which i dont recall getting bonuses for a day ever. So stick to tye subject or dont try to not be helpful .

Ahhh there it is .. Saved me the effort. To the OP since when is Thursday not a normal week day? And while some consider Friday "the Weekend" technically in the traditional sense the normal work week in Monday- Friday and the weekend is Sat/Sun.

Also using the same logic as above .. They hold these bonus weekends on WEEKENDS because they assume that is when the most players will be available to log on, play and reap the benefits. While many people have varied scheduled there are still a huge number of people that work Monday- Friday jobs. School is just about over but while in session anyone from a 12 year old kid in grade school to a 20 year old in college attend classes and may have home work and need to get to sleep early to attend classes the next day BUT Friday night, all day Saturday and All day Sunday are free time to log on and have fun.

My guess would be that Daybreak and the Dev team have statistics on game population that back all this speculation up. You know like some guy that comes running in with a power point presentation that has a graph and shows two, three or even more times as many players in game on a Saturday as opposed to a Wednesday.

Your job has you tied up weekends? That's a shame but the bonus is designed to do more than just "reward" players. Its a draw to get players on line and entice them into spending more money to buy and use more replays because the players can earn a lot more doing it on a double cash weekend than any other time. So naturally they will hold them during the time periods when historically the most players (hopefully with credit cards in hand) are on line.

Now I won't say a week long bonus is never going to occur.. Anything is possible But the reality is they keep them short so we can grab some added coin but not so much that players would never feel the need to use those same replays Mon-Fri.

Now for the harsh reality.... Its a weekend event giving bonus coin for a DLC that is , as has already been mentioned, six months old and in about 1 week a new DLC will arrive with a whole new type of cash that will make ancient coins obsolete for a pretty fair sized number of players. YES I realize not everyone in at CR 190 and has nothing but CR 165 gear slotted in both roles.. BUT if you even NEED ancient coins you are close if not ready for the next DLC and that next set of gear to arrive. And the vendor selling new gear doesn't want your ancient coins.

You know its funny the ONLY players that will benefit from this weekend are those above CR 165 and capable of doing T8 missions... Why are you not screaming that everyone else is not getting a bonus "marks" weekend? What about that poor CR 140 player that needs marks not ancient coins so he or she can guy better gear? You are not the only person getting absolutely no benefit out of this "bonus" weekend. and to clarify I have 5 alts all at CR 188 or higher so NO I am not among those but frankly I am so bored with AF 3 after 6 months and like i said in a week I'll be running new missions and grabbing a whole new type of cash so I am not even planning to bother with the double ancient coin deal.

The appropriate post would have started: Hey Dev's thank you so much for giving us bonus weekends, it was not something you had to do so you totally rock for doing it.

Any bonus is a good thing, but I think the OP kind of has a point. The weekend is for getting away from the daily grind (no pun intended) and enjoying life. I'm kind of bummed I only played one day of the bonus Spores weekend (maybe two, too drunk to remember). Getting out of work and chilling with a video game would probably be a better time for bonus marks.

Then again, I don't have the numbers. Maybe they choose the weekend because more people log in. Maybe they choose the weekend because less people log in and they want to get more log ins.

In leagues have friends but when you try to lfg and get picked up and you are a few cr behind not as quickly picked up. I do not have issues running things. But in general lower the cr the less chance toy are picked up in this mmo.
