Time and Space Quark Vendor Guide

For more of a Generalized discussion, you can find the Original Thread here. This guide will break down the costs of the items in the new Time and Space Vendor that uses the new Currency, Quarks, found in all Time Capsules. This guide is to serve as an offline source of information.

The Time and Space Vendor locations:

Heroes - Watchtower and Police Stations

Villains - Hall of Doom and Nightclubs

Notes about Quarks and the Vendor:

Quarks:
- All Time Capsules, previous and current, will give Quarks.
- A minimum of 10 Quarks is guaranteed when opening a Time Capsule and 10 Quarks in the Sub-Capsules as a choice in the loot picker window. So you're looking at a possible 20 Quarks in a Time Capsule. There is a chance of having more than 10 Quarks in a Time Capsule. The increments are random and maxes out at 100 Quarks.
- Members get a 10% Price Reduction

Quarks Vendor:
- Items on this Vendor are not found in any Time Capsules
- This Vendor Only uses Quarks for its Currency
- These items have NO Feats except the Resplendent Cache

Tactical Mods Box - Non-Member Price: 240 Quarks / Member Price: 215 Quarks

- All Mods wrapped in one box

- When opening a Box you'll have two choices of Mods to choose from in the Loot Picker Window that correlate to your Power. A Fire player will only see Fire Tactical Mods etc.

- Water Tactical Mods will be added

The variable in this is the RNG surrounding the Quarks. The amounts could be much higher than the 10 you get. These figures also do not include the Fragments/Keys you get from the Stabilizer Event.

Im certain I've made some mistakes in the math, only human, and I'll be revisiting periodically to update and/or fix some things you folks notice. Thanks and have fun.

Can we get the collection items from the old time capsules in the time and space vender?
Either individual items or in some kind of box.

Devs have made a note of the idea. It was suggested(many times lol) in the announcement thread. Only time will tell if it comes about.

In the past new tactical mods have been added to TC's. Were any new ones added this time? Or are they all previous releases?

Its all old Tac Mods we have seen. Only thing new are the Water Mods are now there for Water Players. If you havent gotten the old Tac Mods yet this Box will give you a chance at them pertaining to the power of the player you are on

Man that's 1980's wall street money prices.

For anyone interested in white mods for water the 3 ive seen so far are:

Accelerated solace of the sea
Energized tempest guard
Restorative water spouts

Why this doesnt make sense to me is the 1710 part for 20 keys. People cannot add $17 worth of daybreak cash. It has to be $20. Regardless of that tho $220 for a material is outright robbery. This has to be the single silliest thing ive seen daybreak/soe do in the 4.5 years ive played. But im sure the resplendent cache will top it and take over the #1 spot of silliness. Whoever came up with that pricing, for the material i mean, should be ashamed of themselves. #Greed

So um. Avatar bombardier... Isn't this not a rare style anymore? I swear this is the style that was reintroduced in that t5 lantern dlc, could be wrong tho?... So instead of giving us a style like, idk the home turf styles that drops from the inside mission?? We get a repeated style. Wow. Amazing

The Avatar Bombardier Style is a PVP style that was in the game but then was rotated out and never brought back until now.

I know this.. but I'm pretty sure it was the style that was brought back with that t5 lantern dlc, the dlc with assualt and battery, it was the blue style that dropped in the two alerts, almost positive

That or maybe something else, no clue been years since I ran the dlc

Did my research, and it was Avatar infiltrator, not bombardier. Sorry for the mix up! But regardless glad I got this style when it was around. Don't have to spend squat to get it

Those costs though. Smh. 1st City of Heroes, Star Trek online, Neverwinter, and now Dcuo. Yes everyone, We have been "Jacked"...with a business model we have seen used in other games.

I pay for memberships, replays, market place items, but the time capsule and vendor business models he has in place are way over priced in my opinion.

I know as a business model, they want to be successful and make money, but this model and plan is just too over the top and a bit much for me.

Server hotfix changing the Resplendent Cache and Materials Cost

Rewards From Time And Space

• Moved the Rewards From Time And Space vendor in the Watchtower to a more central location.
• Added the Stealth material, Opalescent material, Diamond Mist aura, and Diamond Mist modular auras to the vendor individually.
  • Modular auras include the Diamond Mist Aura - Feet, Diamond Mist Aura - Right Hand, Diamond Mist Aura - Hands, Diamond Mist Aura – Hands and Feet, Diamond Mist Aura - Head, Diamond Mist Aura - Head and Hands, Diamond Mist Aura - Head, Hands, and Feet
• Added the Resplendent Cache to the vendor. The cache now includes the full-body Diamond Mist aura, the Opalescent material, and the 0-point title feat, In Brightest Day, which grants the title, "the Champion of Life."

Cost Breakdown updated with Stealth Material, Opalescent Material, Diamond Mist Auras and Resplendent Cache.

So i wasn't the only one who noticed.
