Well, "bro" - the banner means, that you got the daily credit for the event. How did you "think you did one or two of the days when you hadn't", if you didn't see the huge banner after finishing the seasonal mission/alert on those days?
Yeah the banner is completely irrelevant to what I’m talking about. I still don’t understand where you got the banner from, and you were really condescending, and made a joke out of it, when you didn’t even understand what I was talking about. But I definitely could have been clearer. Were you trying to make fun of me? I don’t get it. The timer, like the countdown to when I can earn progress again, is what I was talking about. I said timer, not banner. And as far as I can tell I am still correct!!! It does not reset at daily restart can anyone confirm this please?
What I'm getting at is - did you miss out on any days of the event, because of the event timer not resetting when you expected it to? Are you at 4/20 credits, or lower? Since you said, that it might have been 2 days that you thought you got your progress, but didn't - didn't you check the event tab to see what's up, after the first time the banner didn't pop? I mean - the second time I would have checked before I ran anything. Yes, tonight the timer did not reset at the daily reset. It might be a bug, since it happened before with some previous events, when daily and event resets were not synced for a couple of days, then went back to normal. It's best to check your event progress every day, to make sure you got the credit for the day, especially if you finish the required mission/alert and don't see the notification.
Where you started (in your first and second reply) and where you ended up here are worlds away from each other. So, now that I have more information, I think the bug has been there for a few days. I think I noticed it on the first or second full day of the event, when I thought I would be able to log in and earn progress but it told me I’d done today. I don’t remember what the timer said that day. So, last night, when I made my first comment in this thread, I had not done anything since reset. And it told me I had 30minutes until I could earn today’s progress. I didn’t do it so that I could see what the timer did this morning. This morning at 9:20 I did it and it told me I had like 8 and a half hours until I can do it again. It should’ve reset at 10am. So there is something wrong with it? Thank you. Hopefully now if a dev reads this, they’ll see it’s a legit problem and not me being an idiot that doesn’t know what I’m doing.
Hello, Long story short, on EU Servers, the event lock reset is currently based (mistakenly) on the US Server hour and not on EU server hour. (simple maths would help from time to time, clicking on the info box in the event button would have given you the same conclusion as mine as EU is resetted on 00:00 GMT and US on 08:00 GMT). As you mention 9:20 you might be either playing on GMT+1 or GMT hours. You don't miss any reward if you take your time to read. A MMORPG is all about reading, taking few mins reading saves you lot of time of misunderstanding and not needed frustration. Basically, Event tab is implemented since last Anniversary Event, we got time to get used to it. It's important to always read this part where the event's infos are stored. The real info is isn't "event is not resetting", which is wrong. The info is "event's lock reset is based on US hours even on EU servers". Yeah once you know it's on the same timer as the Stabalisation Fragmentation solo it's not a big deal, just a little annoying that it's not all at the same time and you could easily miss a day. e.g. if I didn't know I could have locked myself out today (Monday I don't play until the evening), but because I did, I've still got 1 alt left to go through the alert in 80 minutes time.
